Amazing tour, awesome guide!
Brett was an amazing guide on our half-day Grand Teton tour. He knew exactly where to take us for the best wildlife viewing, making the experience unforgettable. His friendly personality and extensive knowledge made every stop interesting, and he happily answered all of our questions about the wildlife, plants, and ecosystems in both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We had an incredible time exploring with Brett and are so grateful for the experience he provided. We can’t wait to come back one day and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional tour!

Magical Experience
We had the most MAGICAL day exploring Yellowstone with Neil. We opted for the private full day tour and it was the experience of a lifetime! Neil is a true expert on the history of Yellowstone and the wildlife found in Jackson Hole. The day flew by and we all were sad to see it come to an end. Highly recommend!!

Book your tour - it’s amazing!
So so grateful to have experienced this epic 10 hour tour of Yellowstone - the guide, Katie, was stellar. Firstly, such a lovely lady who has so much insight into the area and wildlife which made it a gloriously rich and interesting tour (she’s a wildlife biologist so super cool hearing her insights). Secondly, the tour itself was breathtaking and we got to see Old Faithful, Jackson Lake, The Grand Prismatic, the amazing canyon and Yellowstone river - what a sight to behold! We stopped for a picnic and encountered everything from a solo raven, plenty of bison and their calves, pelicans, osprey, herons and to top it off - 2 grizzly sightings that were sensational - hopefully one day can return in fall or winter to catch more wildlife that eluded us ( talking to you wolves 🐺). Do yourself a favour and book a tour now 🦬

Best Tour Ever, worth the Money!!
This was probably the best tour me and my family have ever been on(AM 1/2 day tour of Teton Nat. Park). Neil Moore from Teton Wilderness Adventures, was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent guide. We saw Moose, Elk, Lots of Bison w their young (up close), and antelope. We were provided with canteen water bottles(to keep), coffee and bagels w cream cheese. This tour was a 5 out of 5, and we would absolutely book again.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson Hole.
How much does Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $875 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson Hole usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson Hole is not rushed.
Is Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 44 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson Hole, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson Hole can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson Hole and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Yellowstone Highlights Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson Hole within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson Hole?
+
Jackson Hole is wildlife-first: sunrise safaris for moose, bison and bears in Grand Teton, Snake River floats, Yellowstone day trips and winter sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge. Guide experience and optics quality separate the wildlife tours. On Outty we rank every Jackson Hole experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Snake River Scenic Float, 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park, Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson Hole?
+
June to September for hiking and floats, December to March for snow. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson Hole?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
