The best snorkeling experience
Our experience on the yacht was really great. Especially we enjoyed snorkeling in the Puertito beach. Additional thanks to the staff for taking care of us and for providing us with snack and drinks, we truly appreciate it 🙂The only tiny minus-we didn’t see the whales and dolphins that day, but, of course, it’s not smth we can fully predict. Maybe next time we will be more lucky to see them. Overall our experience was amazing, I totally recommend to use that service 🥰

A fantastic private trip
Our Captain for the day, Maxi, was amazing! Made us feel very welcome and was a great host to out family of 4 adults (parents and grandparents) and 2 children (aged 8 and 6). Took us out to find pilot whales before swimming in a secluded bay. After swimming in crystal clear water with lots of fish we leisurely sailed back to harbour. Amazing from beginning to end.

Great family experience!
A fantastic experience for the whole family. Captain Gui was outstanding. It led us to find the pilot whales, which were very close to us for a long time. Besides, he gave us a lot of information about whale life, which made the experience more enriching. The rest of the morning: bath in a cove, snorkeling, food and drink, all great. We finish with a sparkling toast to finish off a great morning. To remember!

Unforgettable wedding day
We had our 26th birthday on 24.06.2024. They wanted to celebrate this anniversary in a special way. We booked a 6-hour private trip. Just the two of us and the skipper. We were not disappointed! On the contrary. Initially there were a few problems with the Tripadvisor platform, but Paul the owner of Tenerife Sailing Charters was able to absolutely dispel all fears and worries by phone very professionally and kindly. At the specified meeting point we were greeted extremely punctually and courteously by Paul and his skipper Guy and guided onto the boat. Right at the beginning there were fresh fruits of high quality and a welcome drink. Guy the captain is very friendly and has briefed us first easily understandable. Then it started and it became an unforgettable experience! We saw several pilot whale schools only at arm's length from the boat and Guy always took great care to turn off the engine early enough and let the boat just glide. We only sailed a long distance, which was a fantastic, relaxing experience. Guy guided us through the day very well, informatively and interestingly with his expertise, his good humor and many stories about the island, facts about the sea creatures in and on the water, always attentively asking if we were okay, not that we were still getting seasick. The snacks and food were very good, prepared by Paul himself, which was certainly a lot of work considering the amount and quality. We were also allowed to admire a sea turtle in its element, twice, again because Guy is very experienced and has approached sufficiently quietly not to disturb it unnecessarily. Guy also managed to sail pretty much out of the way of the larger gatherings of other boats, so it was also absolutely stress-free, relaxing and a really luxurious experience for my wife and me. We were absolutely thrilled with this beautiful afternoon and are already considering this trip possibly next year to our 27th. Wedding anniversary to repeat with this company.

Wildlife was beautiful.
We enjoyed the trip and saw dolphins, pilot whales and a turtle. The turtle had fishing line and netting caught around its neck. We managed to free the turtle from the debris which was brilliant. We hope the turtle will live a long life now. The sea is very choppy and two of my family became sea sick. This did spoil the trip for them. I would recommend this trip but I would like to recommend to the company running the trip to ensure that the guests are told where to find life jackets and first aid kit. It was somewhat alarming that the captain did not know where the first aid kit was.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat cost?
+
Prices start at $586 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Yacht Tour With Whale and Dolphin Watching 33 Foot Boat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
