    Perfect day in Sydney

This was our favorite tour of our whole cruise!! Our guide, Jackie, was so patient and accommodating to our group as we had delays getting off the ship. She communicated the whole time and eased my anxiety. Symbio was an awesome wildlife park, and we loved getting to pet a koala!! It was well laid out with many types of animals to see. The vista points we visited were beautiful on our drive and the waterfall hike was so pretty!! Lunch was delicious, right next to the beach, and finally the winery was great! Beautiful atmosphere and the staff were very kind. They brought my kids their own snack plate while we were wine tasting so they didn't feel left out. Overall, such a great day in the southern highlands area, and we would highly recommend!!

    We had a wonderful tour...

We had a wonderful tour experience. Our guide, Steve, was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the area we were seeing as well as Australia in general. Really a nice guy and we would totally recommend him as a guide. The tour itself was an incredible experience. We loved the Koala experience, the waterfalls were beautiful, the wine tasting was wonderful and seeing kangaroos in the wild was amazing. Our best tour so far on this trip.

Response from the operator: Hi Debbie, Wow—thank you for such a thoughtful review! It’s always a joy to hear that a day out with us becomes a real highlight of someone’s trip. There’s something pretty special about seeing a wild kangaroo or hearing a waterfall echo through the forest, and we’re so glad you got to soak it all in. Steve has a real talent for making people feel at home while sharing stories of the land, so we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. Wishing you many more great adventures ahead—and if your travels ever bring you back this way, we'd love to host you again! Cheers, from all of the team @WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com

    Fun Day Out of Sydney

We had a great day out of Sydney exploring the wildlife, waterfalls and wine. The highlight of our tour was our guide Rowan and his vast knowledge of the area and history. Our favorite parts of the tour were the interactions with Koalas and kangaroos and the spectacular waterfall hike. The wine/vineyard was great; if time permitted, it would have been awesome to enjoy a glass/share a bottle of our favorite wine from the tasting and take in more of the vineyard grounds and scenery. Highly recommend this private tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted to hear that you had a great day exploring Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine with us. Rohan will be thrilled to know that his vast knowledge of the area and history made your tour memorable. Interacting with koalas and kangaroos and visiting the spectacular Fitzroy Falls are definitely highlights of our tour. We appreciate your feedback regarding the vineyard visit, Centennial Vineyards is absolutely a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a glass or bottle of wine while taking in the scenery. Thank you for highly recommending our private tour. We thankyou for joining our tour! Kind Regards, Michelle @WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com

Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney cost?

    +

Prices start at $385 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Wildlife Waterfalls and Wine Day Tour from Sydney start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
