Truly Aussie Experience
This is the best excursion I have ever done! Matt grew up in this area, and his knowledge of private areas to go to see wildlife and learn about plants and indigenous culture simply can't be duplicated. Everywhere we went, locals all knew Matt and gave him welcome access. His prior career as a professional in the movie industry comes across. Adjust your vacation days to meet his schedule - it is worth it!
Response from the operator: Mike, thank you so much for those incredibly kind words. I had a wonderful time with you both. So glad you thought the quad bikes were a lot of fun, and I still smile thinking about how perfectly everything came together, from the ride itself to the moments with kids diving and fishing in the sea. That’s the magic of this tour, adventure and wildlife all wrapped into one unforgettable day. Thank you again for making it such a memorable day for me too. I hope our paths cross again somewhere down the track. Kind regards, Matt Wildlife Whisperer Sydney Guided Tours

Best Aussie Excursion
We have been on dozens of excursions in the last few years, and this is by far the best! The owner and guide (Matt) has lived in this area his whole life, is a recognized professional photographer, wildlife and plant expert. Everywhere he took us he knew the locals, and we saw areas which are unknown to most and not over run by tourists. This is truly the way to see Australia and its unique wildlife, plants and culture.
Response from the operator: Thank you both so much for your incredibly kind words. It really means a lot, especially coming from seasoned travellers who’ve experienced so many excursions around the world. What a day that was. I’ll never forget the local surfer kids, (we call them grommets), putting on a proper show for us, fishing off the rocks and diving themselves off the rockshelf into the waves like they owned the ocean. Moments like these are completely unscripted and give you a real glimpse into everyday Australian life. It was a great day for me too, getting to spend that time with you both, sharing the places, wildlife, and stories that have shaped my life here. Wishing you both all the very best for your big adventures ahead. I hope Australia stays with you long after the journey ends. Cheers mateys, Matt Wildlife Whisperer, Sydney Guided Tours

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $694 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Quad Biking, Koalas and Kangaroos - Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
