Terrible! Stay away from this company!
Lucerne & mount titlis are fantastic and I recommend you see them but not with this company! We booked private and it was the worst tour guide service we have ever used. Our guide picked us up and did not say one word the entire car ride or walking tour imagine walking around a strange city with a strange who does not speak, he didn’t know anything about Switzerland or Lucerne or anything in it, he has only lived here for 2 years and had zero information, he didn’t even speak German to help us communicate with the bakery we were trying to buy snacks from. He didn’t even offer a friendly face or attitude. Then came the best part the cable car up titlis or so we though, he brought us to the station we waited 1 hour in line paid for tickets got to the top and discovered this guy brought us to the wrong mountain!!! What a nightmare. When you book a tour like this you expect someone who knows what their doing this guide didn’t know anything, we could have done better on our own and without the awkward person who contributed nothing to our day. We’ve taken many tours and have never met a guide on this level of incompetence and equally unknowledgeable.
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback, after reviewing it, we also would like to point out the following. 1. Please note, that the trip states clearly that you will be accompanied by a driver-guide and not a professional local guide. Your expectation and the service which was booked are not compatible. 2. As you may know Switzerland has many official languages, in which is listed French which was the assigned driver-guide’s native language. He lived for 2 years not in Switzerland but in the USA. Unfortunately, the mainly assigned driver-guide has been released due to unexpected circumstances and that is the reason for hiring someone from the French part of Switzerland to avoid canceling your journey. Although that does not mean that he does not know Switzerland, as it is not his first experience, he did many excursions. 3. We regret the issue of the cable car, which could be solved, as you are aware we advised immediately on the phone that you be refunded that amount. However, the driver-guide was not fully blamed here, as the accident was made due to a failure in the GPS instructions at the beginning and as we mentioned he was new on the German side of Switzerland. Nevertheless, the service was provided in one of our luxurious Mercedes minivans, brand new. Thank you for your attention. Johan @ AlpTransfer.com

The staff is doing their job just great. I am really thankful you guys for the unforgettable memories I had now from the trip to Switzerland. The picturesque spots especially the awesome view from the top of Titlis mountain is so far in my mind. Now I'm just looking forward to my next trip and of course with your help. Keep it up.
Response from the operator: Dear Urartu, Thank you for sharing your positive feedback. It was our pleasure to have you during your vacation in Switzerland, and we hope to serve you again in the future while showing you the other beautiful parts of our country. Kindest Regards, AlpTransfer Team

+

+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
