    About this experience

This is a unique tour, as you get to check off your bucket list a huge landmark like Pompeii, but with style & classy travel service. It's an half day comfortable tour, having a private English speaking driver, as well as a Local and Licensed guide who speaks the language requested (available extra if required) . With your stop in Pompeii along the way from Naples to Sorrento, you get to maximize time and money, which is crucial when travelling these days. Your guide is going to have already your skipped line entrance tickets included, so no time will be wasted in line when you get there. Two hours to get to know Pompeii is a very good amount to leave with a detailed idea of how Romans used to live 2000 years ago. After the visit, you will be meeting again with your driver, and be back on the road to your final destination: Naples or Sorrento. Ask for a quick stop to take a gorgeous picture on the road, or even try for free the typical Limoncello.

Naples, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast transfers

My wife and I booked car service from and to Naples Airport as well as transfers between Sorrento and Positano and Ravello to Positano. Roberto, the owner of a 4th generation travel services company, kept in constant communication to make sure arrangements were clear and on schedule. Salvatore, Antonio and Allesandro were our drivers. Roberto himself accompanied another driver for our trip from Positano to Naples Airport. He was able to convey a lot of knowledge and history of the area. All drivers were on time, professional and drove safely. I highly recommend Touring Italy to anyone Looking for travel services in the Naples, Sorrento and Amalfi coast region.

Response from the operator: Dear Marty,Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us on Google! We are delighted to hearing that you had a seamless experience with our drivers for your transportation needs to/from and on the Amalfi coast. We Thank you very much for taking the time to write us this beautiful review! We look forward to welcoming you again for other opportunities to travel everywhere in Italy! Sincerely, Roberto D'Alessandro Touring Italy.

    Great!!!

Very good service. Comfortable car. And Pino, our driver, was fantastic. Attentive, respectful, polite and good pilot. We transferred from the Port of Naples to Positano and we have no complaints, but nothing but praise. The service is worth it. I will use it again. I highly recommend it. I will definitely use it again.

Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pompeii.

How much does Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii cost?

    +

Prices start at $290 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pompeii usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pompeii is not rushed.

Is Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pompeii, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pompeii can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pompeii and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfer/Tour from/to Naples to/from Sorrento with stop in Pompeii start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pompeii within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pompeii?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pompeii experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Minivan Trip from Rome: Pompeii Tour & Lunch in Sorrento, Skip the Line Guided Tour of Pompeii Led by an Archaeologist, Explore Pompeii with an Archaeologist. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pompeii?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pompeii?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
