Great Way To Travel Between Porto & Lisbon
This a good alternative to Uber or Bolt, since you can break up the trip and see something else on the way. Our driver was friendly, timely and was everything you would want from this experience. Highly recommended!

Stop, See and Taste the Sights on the Way!
We arranged with Touch Tour for a pick up from our hotel in Porto and drive to Lisbon. On the way we asked to stop and visit Aveiro and Nazaré. Carla was our driver for the day. She was prompt at picking us up and loaded our luggage into her vehicle. Our first stop was Aveiro. She chose a boat for us to ride the canals and view the fishing village. Good way to quickly see and learn about the area. She then drove through the area of Costa Nova do Prado to show us the resort area known for the colorful striped houses that used to store fishermen’s equipment. After this, Carla suggested a restaurant for lunch that served suckling roasted pig, since we discussed how much we enjoyed the pork we ate while we were in Porto. The restaurant was a great authentic Portuguese restaurant filled with locals all eating the same excellent suckling pig, served with freshly made potato chips and salad. We then drove to Nazare to walk along the cliffs and see the ocean and beach front and lighthouse. Carla then drove us to our hotel in Lisbon. Our day with Carla was great. She was an excellent driver, and cared about our needs.

Máximo Santos thank you for making such a memorable trip
Here is the revised Instagram caption: Maximo Santos was the epitome of first-class service. Not only is he well-versed in Portuguese history, but he is also charming and considerate in managing any mobility considerations. All of his recommendations were spot-on, from the Moliceiro tour in Aveiro to the Coimbra University, Royal Palace to the Chapel, and a late lunch at Chapa 7 near Fatima. Thank you for making our trip so memorable, and we look forward to crossing paths in the near future.

Our favorite part of the trip...
We went on our trip as a family of four and left feeling like we had just met another member of our family in Portugal. Having Antonio (Maximo) with us in Portugal for three days was a blessing that we will always hold close to our hearts. Antonio went out of his way each and every day to make sure that my children were happy, that I was accommodated as a vegan and that we were all enjoying our time. He provided so much history, knowledge and warmth throughout our time in Portugal. All of the people that he came in contact with along with way knew him and obviously loved him. We felt like we were so well taken care of throughout our time with Antonio. If you are looking to explore the areas between Lisbon and Porto, this is the way to do it. The "touristy" factor is removed and you feel like you are with a great friend embracing everything wonderful that Portugal has to offer.
Response from the operator: We're thrilled to hear about your amazing experience with Antonio! It sounds like he made your trip truly memorable. Thank you for choosing us for your adventure in Portugal!

Pleasant and informative drive from Porto to Lisbon .
Antonio was a good driver. He was patient and thoughtful of Linda’s leg injury (several days earlier). We enjoyed the boat ride Aveiro, and he took us to a bakery for delicious treats. He knew of a nice place in Coimbra for lunch.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private transfer from Oporto to Lisbon or Lisbon to Oporto start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
