Train Cemetery
The Train Cemetery is an abandoned train site. It is located southwest of the city of Uyuni, a few kilometers from the city center, and is said to be the largest railway cemetery in the world. There are a total of around 100 locomotives and carriages in the railway cemetery, the oldest of which date from the late 19th century. Isla Incahuasi
(Not available in the rainy season) Giant cacti up to 10 m high are found on Incahuasi Island. This island is the largest of the set of islets located in the center of the Uyuni salt flat. The island operates a tourist reception centre belonging to the commonwealth of municipalities of Llica and Tahua, in whose territory the island is located. At this center visitors are charged an entrance fee (30 Bs. optional) to access a well-signposted and easily practicable trail that runs through the island and allows you to enjoy the views over the salt flat, the cobalt blue sky and the hundreds of cacti.
