Great tour from start to finish!
We had an incredible experience on our Salar de Uyuni tour with Soledad and Samuel. They curated a truly special day for us. Since we visited during Thanksgiving week, we didn’t get the mirror effect—but that meant we were able to explore even more of the salt flats, which was amazing in its own way. We knew lunch and a sunset toast were included, but we were completely blown away by the beautiful oases Samuel set up for us. Soledad also brought fun props for our photos and was more than happy to help us capture as many shots as we wanted. Overall, it was a fantastic day—highly recommend!

Fantastic tour great service and great guide
This was a fantastic tour and a major highlight of our travels. The guide was fantastic and so creative taking photos. The service from the guide Lilly and driver were excellent. Everything was taken care of. Boots for the wet areas, great lunch and snacks, plenty of water so no need to take anything other the essentials. I can’t recommend this tour enough it was so good

Niceee
We had a great private tour to Salar de Uyuni with Joker Expedition! Our guide and driver were friendly, the car was comfortable, and the snacks were a nice touch. They listened to our wishes and let us take as much time as we wanted at the spots we liked most.

Very enjoyable day at the Uyuni Salt Flats.
We were picked up and dropped off at the airport. The drive involved a stop at the Train Graveyard as well as the salt flats. Our guide, Oscar, was very knowledgeable and provide lots of entertaining information. We stopped at several key spots and even had lunch on the flats. The tour ended with a spectacular sunset view with a wine toast. We were put up at the Luna Salada Hotel, which was very nice.

Just AMAZING!!!
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL <3! We did this tour coming from La Paz early morning where Ronald picked us up at the bus terminal Uyuni. We thought we go directly to the salt flats, however we were extremely positively surprised; without knowing we got in the Boutique Atipax Hotel a small but lovely and excellent breakfast. After we were told that we free of charge are allowed to use a hotel room to sleep and shower, the bed was so comfortable! At 10.30 am Ronald picked us up with Julia our tour guide. Julia was amazing, very friendly and organized. The day at the salt flats was amazing! I have been in so many countries but the Joker Expedition team and Julia really made my memories to beautiful Bolivia unforgettable. Highly recommended and worth every cent!

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Uyuni.
How much does Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni cost?
+
Prices start at $255 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Uyuni usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Uyuni is not rushed.
Is Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Uyuni, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Uyuni can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Uyuni and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Circuit from Uyuni start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Uyuni within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Uyuni?
+
On Outty we rank every Uyuni experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3-Days Tour to the Uyuni Salt Flat and Colored Lagoons +Sunset+Mirror Effect, Uyuni Salt Flat 1 Day Tour +Sunset in the Salt Water Region with Mirror Effect, 3-Day Salt Tour of Uyuni with Sunset and Lagoons Colorada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Uyuni?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Uyuni?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
