    1. The Alhambra

This is a complete tour of the Alhambra (tickets included): for approximately 2.5-3 hours we will show you what is considered by many to be the most impressive monument in Spain. We will start by visiting the Generalife, an area of magnificent gardens and orchards where the Sultan had a palace which he used for his personal pleasure. After the Generalife, we will go to see the Palace of Charles V, a Christian palace in the heart of the Alhambra that will not leave you indifferent. In the Alcazaba, the defensive-military area, we will have the chance to enjoy what is probably the best view of the city, and finally we will visit the Nasrid Palaces, the center of the political and bureaucratic administration of the Kingdom of Grenade.

    Truly Incredible

Just...wow. I wish it were possible to give more than 5 stars for this wonderful tour! My mother and I had such a great time with Carlos, our amazing guide. He was simply outstanding in every regard, and we felt so lucky to explore the Alhambra with him. All communication with Matias beforehand was prompt and thorough - much appreciated. This was truly the highlight of our time in Spain so far. Could not recommend more highly!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you veeery much for appreciating the professionalism and excellence of our guides and the quality of our services. We hope to see you again soon on any of our tours in Spain!

Our guide, Edwardo, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and full of information. Could feel his love of the history.

Alone we would have never understood as much about Alhambra. It was easy and the reminders great, meeting place easy to find and the perfect amount of time. And Edwardo amazing guide!!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your opinion with us! We are delighted that you enjoyed the Alhambra tour so much and the knowledge and company of Eduardo, one of our 5 star guides! Alhambra is a amazing place, but it's always better with a great guide ;) We hope to see you again very soon in another of our tours in Spain!

    Magical Experience

We were fortunate enough to have experienced a private tour with Debora who was incredibly knowledgeable, obviously very passionate of the history of the Alhambra and Granada, and is full of personality. Debora made our morning tour the best experience of our 6 week travels in Spain and Portugal. Go early to beat the crowds and ask for Debora!

    Highly recommend this personalized tour

Alhambra was on the bucket list. Just seeing the outside does not do it justice. The inside is where the real story is. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and personalized it for us. I would highly recommend – if your budget allows – to take a private rather than large group tour. The guide can adjust to your pace, answer your questions, and point out things, unique to you as a family, that would be of interest. Eduardo was knowledgeable, nice, and excellent.

Beautiful and informative tour through Alhambra

Our family of 4 had traveled to Spain for a 10-day trip and an Alhambra tour was a "must see" during our visit. Our main point of contact, Matias, was quick with replies and instructions leading up to our visit on May 16. When the day arrived, we had an amazing, guided tour of Alhambra, Palaces and Generalife from our tour guide, Edu (Eduardo), as had been planned. Edu is a local guide who lives in Granada and despite being a native Spanish speaker, has mastery of the English language and was able to describe nuanced details and history of the site without hesitation. Edu met us punctually at the agreed meeting point just outside the gate and proceeded to review the history of the site with some helpful visual aids before he took us inside the gates. The fast-track tickets helped us bypass lines and queues that delayed other visitors. Edu knew many of the staff within the walls of Alhambra which gave us the confidence that our guide has spent significant time on the site. Once inside, he guided us efficiently through the different areas of the sprawling property, highlighting features and histories likely uncovered by the large groups. Edu has a background in botany and natural sciences, which was especially helpful in describing the natural landscape and farming traditions within the walls of Alhambra. He also has a deep understanding of the complex and innovative water conveyance strategies used at the site throughout time. His insights in these areas were especially interesting. As we toured without the need for microphones and earbuds, the tour was very intimate and personalized. Edu was more than happy to indulge our party by taking photos of us at certain vantage points whenever we asked. Edu proceeded at a great pace through the site and was always mindful of the best times to walk through certain areas and was always able to budget time wisely to allocate more time in areas of importance and historical significance. I suspect we may have exceeded the allotted time for our tour, but Edu led us through the entire site during the extended visit and took time to answer all of our questions. Our family can recommend working with this team without hesitation. Matias and specially Edu made this part of our visit to Spain easy and enjoyable.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included cost?

    +

Prices start at $213 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 56 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private tour of the Alhambra entrances included start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
