NOT a private tour more of a taxi to the park.

The national park is an absolute MUST SEE. Our driver was lovely, but this was anything BUT a private tour. It was merely a VERY expensive taxi ride from SPLIT to the park. We were then dropped off and had to buy a bus ticket within the park to go down to start the walk to see the water falls. There was no private tour so just be aware of that. Our driver was very kind and stopped at Klis for ten minutes to take amazing view pics.

Response from the operator: Dear Jim, We are very sorry to hear that you were left with such an impression of the tour. However, I would like to clarify a few things a bit better. In our tour description, it is clearly stated that the tour includes transportation and a driver only, and nothing else. All of our drivers are highly professional, as you also mentioned yourself. Regarding the bus ride after arriving at the National Park, this is simply how the park operates. Vehicles are only permitted up to the entrance area. From there, the National Park shuttle buses transport visitors to the walking paths and the starting point of the trail. Unfortunately, this is a regulation of the National Park itself and is not something we are able to influence or change. We always do our best to provide a comfortable and smooth experience for all of our guests, and we truly regret if certain aspects of the National Park organization did not meet your expectations. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve communication and ensure future guests have a clearer understanding of how the excursion is organized. Thank you once again for choosing our service, and we sincerely hope you still enjoyed the beauty of the National Park and your time in Croatia.

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
