About this experience
Just a short ferry ride from Split, Brač shines with breathtaking scenery and a uniquely relaxed, laid-back vibe. First up we will visit Škrip, the oldest settlement on the island which hosts a unique olive oil museum where you will learn about the oil and try the best oils and local delicacies. After a nice snack, we are going towards the southern side of Brač. Depending on your preferences, upon arriving in Bol, you can head to the beach or the center of the town where you will have some free time to enjoy this jewel and grab a glass of wine in one of the most picturesque wineries in all of Croatia. On our way back to the ferry, we are stopping at Vidova Gora, the highest peak of the Adriatic that offers incredible views of the nearby islands and the iconic Zlatni rat beach. ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: 1) If you wish to visit the only Stonemasonry School in Croatia, we can make it happen. 2) If you wish to have a proper tasting of local wines, I can arrange a visit to a winery.

Temper Travel, a wonderful tour company run by two friendly, thoughtful and considerate brothers.
We had two private tours with Temper Travel and Pavle was our guide. We were incredibly impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, expertise and delivery of information. He was also a safe and careful driver. Bosko was our initial contact and the planning and organisation of the tours was excellent. We enjoyed both our tours, Panoramic Split and Brac. We especially enjoyed Brac and the wonderful Olive Oil museum. It was lovely to be driven around the island, to see the sights and learn about its history. We would definitely recommend Temper Travel and both Bosko and Pavle as a tour company, if you find yourself in Split.

A highlight of our Croatia Trip! Brac Island Tour
Perfect Day Touring Brac Island with Boško Our private tour of Brac Island with Boško could not have been better! He met us at the port in Split with a comfortable car, escorted us onto the ferry for the ride to Brac, and made sure we had all the experiences we wanted to have on the island. We toured the island as he explained its history and culture, visited the Olive Oil Museum for a tour of the factory, had a lovely brunch there sampling local cheese, olives, prosciutto, honey, etc., went to beautiful Zlatni rat beach for a swim, and to a winery to sample local wine. Boško designed the day to give us both time on our own and time guided by him. He was delightful to be with, passionate and knowledgeable about Croatia, and very thoughtful about meeting our needs and seeing that we had the fullest experience on beautiful Brac. We highly recommend touring with Boško….the experience will surpass your expectations.

Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting cost?
+
Prices start at $292 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private tour of Brač island with olive oil tasting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
