What you get

    About this experience

The most apparent reason thousands of tourists flock to the town of Mostar, known as a melting pot of cultures, is because of the Old Bridge. But Mostar is much more than a postcard-perfect town; it is a window to the Orient. The diversity of western and eastern architectural styles can be seen around every corner as soon as you cross the Croatian border. We’ll start from the delta of the Neretva river and discover the picturesque places, a white-stone sanctuary with roots dating back to the 14th century. Experience another side of the Balkans while walking through the historic village and sip Turkish coffee made by the original recipe. After Mostar, we'll continue to the Kravice falls. Descending into the valley of the Trebizan river, these 25-meter waterfalls shape emerald pools, which make for an outstanding natural attraction. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to swim under the waterfalls and recharge before heading back to Split.

    Kravice Falls…. Wow.

The tour was great. Mostar was lovely to visit, very cheap for food/drink and gifts. Kravice falls was breathtaking. Quite a few beach bars down at the falls to sit and watch with a drink and food. Our tour guide Branka was fabulous. She was our life saver due to an accident with a family member who fell over and cut his face quite bad. She took us to the local hospital- stayed with us while he had stitches, helped us to translate all the medical forms and even took us to a 24 hour pharmacy to get the medication. She stayed extra hours with us and made sure we got back safely. Honestly couldn’t thank her enough. That is above and beyond what we expected.

    Chasing waterfalls

We went to Croatia in search of waterfalls and our friends shared that Bosnia and Herzegovina and so we booked this tour. Ivo did a good job communicating pick up times, destination times and that we would need our passports at the border, confirming we had them. Ivo was a good drive and shared information about Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar was ok; very tourist trappy for us, but again we were chasing waterfalls. We stopped at a very nigh restaurant where the food was excellent! Then we arrived at Kravice Falls. They did not disappoint, but be warned that the walk way down gets a little sketchy next the bottom & it is a long way to the bottom. I would recommend this tour and to enhance it, ask for Ivo.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls from Split?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
