    Excellent Jewish Quarter Rhodes Tour

A truly interesting tour of the old Jewish quarter and surrounding area. Our guide Evangelos was amazing, with a combination of deep knowledge, real interest and historical context he educated us with extensive facts and humor. We highly recommend taking this tour and make sure you get Evan! Elisavet was really helpful in booking and coordinating making the adventure smooth from the very start.

Response from the operator: Hi there, Thank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely review! We're delighted the Jewish Quarter tour left such an impression on you. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Evangelos, his passion for Rhodes' history and knack for weaving in humor is something our guests mention again and again, and we're thrilled it made your experience so memorable. We'll also let Elisavet know how much you appreciated her help getting everything organized smoothly from the start. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to Rhodes again soon!

Great tour of Rhodes for a short cruise stay

A perfect way to see historically significant sites near the cruise port in Rhodes for a short visit. Our guide, Nikol, met us promptly as we exited the ships gangway and after a brief introduction, walked us out into Rhodes explaining the historic significance of this island and its place among the many island groups of Greece. We were shown and she explained MANY interesting and important sites and facts during this walking tour. We learned so much about the history of Rhodes, not only the Jewish quarter but its significance in Europe and Asia and Greece’s overall history. The tour was at a comfortable pace, we weren’t rushed and she personalized it for the places and things we wanted to learn about. The tour lasted almost 4 hours and it was a great way to see this fascinating city, compared to the many tourists on their own and others we saw in LARGE groups with headphones. Also, Nikol is an excellent photographer and took many great pictures of us along the way. We would highly recommend this tour for visitors to Rhodes.

Wonderful Old City Tour in Rhodes

Our private tour of Rhodes Old Town, was a truly memorable experience. Our guide was kind, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable about the rich history of Rhodes. She tailored the tour to our interests, allowing us to explore not only the main highlights but also some hidden corners off the beaten path. We never felt rushed and appreciated the relaxed pace that let us fully take in the atmosphere of the Old Town. The Palace of the Grand Master was one of our favorite sites on the island, and learning about its significance through our guide’s insights made it even more impactful. This tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for Rhodes and its history. Highly recommended!

Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.

How much does Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace cost?

    +

Prices start at $390 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.

Is Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour in The Jewish Quarter & Grand Master's Palace start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rhodes?

    +

On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rhodes?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rhodes?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
