Kallithea Springs
Kallithea is famous for its natural springs and where we will stop for about an hour. Here, you will be invited to explore and take a refreshing morning swim. Healing, properties of the Springs have long been nown even in ancient times. Reddish water erupting from a rocky formation in the Gulf of Kallithea has attracted people for thousands of years. Italian architect Pietro, Lombardi was entrusted with designing the buildings. Armando Burnaby another eminent Italian architect, undertook the decorative work paying full respect to the natural environment. A year later, fellow Italian Alberto Mocci, a doctor organized, an International hydrological Conference here, which was attended by more than 200 scientists. Visitors, discovered, both physical and mental cleansing in the tranquility of this wonderful setting. Admission from the sea is free and you will certainly have enough time to visit before we set sail for our 2nd stop.

Afandou Beach
AFANTOU is famous for it's huge beach with crystal clear waters, which is about 6 km long consisting of Pebbles and for its huge Golf Course. The Pebbles from here have been used in the construction of the sidewalks of the Old Town of Roads, the area around AFANTOU, has many monuments tombs and Temple foundations. The coastal settlement here was attacked and destroyed three times by pirates in 620, by the Persians in 653, by Arabs and in 807 by the Turks. After these attacks, the inhabitants left the coastal settlements that were visible to the attackers, and moved a little in land behind the Rocks, where the settlement is located today and which cannot be seen from the sea. The name, AFANTOU comes from the word, Afando, which in Greek means invisible. You will have over an hour to explore the area and the caves before we will be pleased to open the lunch, buffet back on board.

Ladiko Beach
A unique destination The word Oil in translation is the container you use to place or store Oil. The beautiful beach got this name because it was a commercial point for loading and unloading olive oil. For the commercial cargo ships of the time, this particular point was the commercial station for transactions with the oil producers of the region as they loaded their cargoes destined for Egypt and the Middle East. Local fishermen have found around the area of Ladikos several clay containers that come from shipwrecks that traded in that area. It is located right behind Anthony Quinn surrounded by caves. The picturesque bay of Ladikos is now a busy beach that is part of several boat tours and also for several underwater activities that take place in the area.

Anthony Quinn Bay
Next stop is Anthony Quinn Bay which is completely different than Afandou. It is a small Bay surrounded by high rocks with very deep water. In this Bay there are thousands of small fish and you are invited to use the complimentary snorkeling gear, which is at your disposal on the boat. You may also wish to throw bread at the fish that will congregate near by to eat. So far, no fish has ever eaten any of our guests. Not a single bite. The bay is named after the famous Mexican actor, who starred in the International Blockbuster film, Cannons of Navarone in the 1960s. When Quinn came to Rhodes to shoot the film, he was blown away by the beautiful Bay and asked the Greek state If he could buy it. An agreement was never carried through however and after years of controversy, the Court ruled that it was unenforceable. So Quinn, never got his Bay. Despite this, the locals name the beach Anthony Quinn in his honor. you ready for a day of adventure and beauty?

Mandraki Harbour
The cruise's starting and ending point is the beautiful Mandraki Harbour. This was the ancient ‘sheep pen’, the name in Greek being mandri, a name often used for small, encircling harbours. Mandraki was one of the five ports of ancient Rhodes. It was the naval port and was known as the ‘small harbour’ as opposed to the ‘great harbour’, the present Commercial Harbour. Legend claims that the harbour entrance was spanned by the legendary Colossus of Rhodes, but there is no proof of this. Today twin columns from the Venetian era, bear statues of Rhodian deer, a stag and doe, stand on either side of the harbour gap. On the opposite side, lies the 15th-century Fortress of Agios Nikolaos. Named after the island's patron saint, St Nicholas, this massive fortress rose from the humble origins of a small church, transformed into an imposing bastion by the Grand Master of the Knights of St. John. Sharing this scenic view are three marvellously preserved medieval windmills!

Recommmmmended!!
The experience was 10/10. I was extremely pleased throughout the whole journey. The atmosphere was splendid with good music and very friendly and funny staff members. Food was served around 1pm but it does stay out for a good amount of time so I suggest you eat after a good 40/50 min of swimming at the second stop unlike what we did (swam 20 min then ate for 30 lol). The waters and explorations of the beaches were beautiful. The coolers at the front were a life saver during the hot weather. But be careful and take lots of sunscreen and your own towels with you as the sun can get very hot. Although we placed loads of sunscreen on regularly we still ended up burning our shoulders off.

Nice
Otherwise, the service and food were good, but we weren't told that we could simply take cold drinks from the cooler, or where the shower was located.

Truly memorable trip
Romantically exclusive Cruise was absolutely exceptional. The attention to detail throughout the day was remarkable, from the beautifully prepared food to the thoughtful touches that made everything feel effortless. The staff were genuinely welcoming and made us feel looked after from the moment we stepped onboard. Booking via WhatsApp was incredibly straightforward, clear communication, quick responses, and a level of professionalism that made planning simple. It’s a perfect choice for families. There’s plenty of space, so the boat never feels crowded, and the route is wonderfully planned. Each swimming stop was timed perfectly, giving us the chance to enjoy the water without the overcrowding we saw on other trips. A truly memorable experience.

⭐ Not as advertised and definitely not worth the money
⭐ Not as advertised and definitely not worth the money Unfortunately, this boat trip was very different from what was sold to us. We were told we would sail from Rhodes towards Afantou, with two separate swimming stops along the way. Instead, we travelled to a nearby bay, had just one opportunity to swim, and then headed back. The food was also really disappointing. When we booked, we were shown photographs of beautiful seafood, which helped sell the experience to us. What was actually served wasn’t remotely similar to what we’d been shown. We were also promised cocktails served to us while we relaxed on the boat. In reality, we had to go and collect the drinks ourselves, and what we received was cheap, watered-down alcohol served in paper cups. The live music was mediocre and didn’t make up for everything else that had been promised but wasn’t delivered. We did still manage to enjoy the day because we’re the type of people who try to make the most of any experience, but that’s beside the point. We paid for the experience that was advertised to us, and that simply isn’t what we received. If the trip had been accurately described from the beginning, we could have made an informed decision about whether it was worth the price. Based on what we were shown and told when booking versus what was actually provided, it felt like false advertising. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 1,266 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet?
+
Around 443 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks, Rhodes Sea Kayaking Tour – The Pirates Route. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
