3. Eglise Monolithe de Saint-Emilion

   In the heart of the city, the monolithic church recalls the religious activity of the city in the Middle Ages and intrigues with its unusual design. If it reveals itself to the visitor by the position of a 68-metre-high bell tower, it then slips behind the elegance of three openings in the façade and an often closed Gothic portal. The church is as surprising as it is fragile!

4. The first historic wine bar in Saint-Emilion, L’Envers du Décor was founded in 1987 by François des Ligneris and taken over in February 2017 by the Perse family, property owner of Château Pavie and the Inn de Pavia. Over the years, L’Envers du Décor, the emblematic restaurant of Saint-Emilion, has become the unmissable address of the village. The name of the restaurant is given as an example. 5. Chateau de Sales

   Château de Sales is located northwest of the Pomerol appellation. With 47.60 hectares of vines, on the 90 hectares of the estate, the estate has the most important vineyard in the AOC Pomerol. 6. Chateau La Gaffeliere

   Château La Gaffelière first evokes a Grand Vin, the first Grand Cru Ranked since the origin of the Saint-Emilion Ranking in 1959.
