What you'll see and do

  1. This Marian pilgrimage center evokes the apparitions of Our Lady to the three shepherd children Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta, which occurred in 1917 and recognized in 1930. The place was a rural property, called Cova da Iria, and belonged to Lúcia's parents, who donated it to the sanctuary. It was here that five of the six apparitions took place. The Sanctuary includes the Chapel of Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Prayer Room and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. Complementing the Sanctuary are the Retreat Houses of Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Paul VI Pastoral Center. Being a place of religious worship, visitors can visit freely and at their own pace.

  3. Nazare

Lighthouse installed in the São Miguel Fort since 1903. It serves to aid navigation. And it currently has a light range of 15 miles, complemented by an audible warning signal on days of intense fog. 4. Obidos Village

The medieval village of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and well preserved of Portugal, has become more prosperous from the moment it was chosen by the royal family. Since the king D. Dinis offered it to his wife D. Isabel, in the century. XIII, belonged to the House of the Queens who, throughout the various dynasties, benefited and enriched it. It is one of the main reasons for finding so many churches in this small town. Within walls, we find a well-preserved castle and a labyrinth of streets and white houses that enchant those who walk there. The Mother Church of Santa Maria, the Church of Mercy, the Church of San Pedro, the Pelourinho and, outside of walls, the Aqueduct and the Sanctuary of the Lord Jesus of the Stone, of round plant, are some of the monuments that justify an attentive visit .

Fatima, Nazarre and Orbidos are amazing!

Katarina arrived promptly, kept us on schedule and she was very kind. All three destinations Fatima, Navarre and Orbidos are worth seeing.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review; it helps my small business, as well as other visitors, to choose me for their tours.

Full day Portugal tour with Ricardo

Ricardo was very friendly and informative! We learned about the religion, history and culture of Portugal. We had plenty of time on our own combined with the group activities.. I would highly recommend doing this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Response from the operator: We are always very grateful when we receive positive reviews. But in this case we believe there was a deception, as we don't have anyone by the name of Ricardo in our company.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
