Absolute recommendation!
We had a wonderful time at this olive farm! The tour was incredibly interesting, and we learned a lot about the cultivation, harvesting, and production of olive oil. What was particularly great was that we could not only watch but also actively participate, try various products, sample many different olives, and even make something ourselves. The owner was a fantastic host – warm, engaged, and with an infectious passion for her work. You could tell how much love she puts into the farm and the wonderful garden, and she took a lot of time to answer all questions. There are also many animals, like donkeys, dogs, and cats! :) A thoroughly successful experience that we can recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about Greek olive culture and gain an authentic insight. Thank you very much for this special afternoon!

A great way to enjoy discovering about olives
We went to this event knowing there were green and black olives, but left with a much greater depth of the world of olive growing! Emma was very welcoming to us all. We learnt the history of olives, how they are cultivated and what happens to them once they are harvested. We all enjoyed the session where we made various products involving olives and , of course, tasting a variety of the olives. Emma is passionate about olives and is more than willing to share her knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend this event and would be delighted to have a chance to repeat the tour myself. A brilliant way to learn things you didn't even know you didn't know about olives!!

Olives, oil, and more
Can't say enough great things about our experience at the Olive Tree Farm. This tour came recommended by friends who visited here last year. They said it was the highlight of their time in Greece and that we should not miss the opportunity to do it. As soon as we booked, we had communication with Emma the host. She is super friendly, very welcoming, and really cares about the olives and nature as a whole. She loves talking with people educating them and it really shows. She takes time to explain everything and answer all your questions. Just follow her directions to the farm and you will spend 3 to 3.5 hours enjoying every minute of it. Jason & Kathie

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour: Discover the Secret World of Olives in Afantou start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
