    Awesome experience

My family and I had an amazing time at Moana Glass. We did one awesome family project and my wife was able to do a personal project. Sue was amazing, showing us the ins and outs of Moana Glass and worked in options for our family. She is a great asset to Moana Glass. We were lucky enough to watch Tyler give a glass the day prior to our glass and he was amazing teacher. Paul was the glue that lead our project for the family and my wife project. He made sure everyone was included and most of all we had alot of fun and laughs. Can wait to see the end results laster today.

    Unique, fun, and unforgettable experience!

I would *highly* recommend this experience for couples or families. I had seen glass-blowing demonstrations (in Italy) before, but being able to do it yourself, safely and under expert guidance, is a whole other thing. We had a group of 6 (including an 11 year old and 16 year old and 2 grandparents), so we did 3 teams of 2 and made 3 pieces. We were able to choose from a variety of pieces and decided on a pufferfish, a large vase, and a starfish. We had to pay a bit extra for the pufferfish and large vase. Everyone working here was super friendly and funny and welcoming. Louis, who has 30 years of experience in the field, guided us through every step and it was just *so* fun. Touring the shop and seeing other pieces before and after our class was great too, as the art they are able to create is mind-blowing. One note for those considering: the pieces are not going to be cooled and ready for packing up until the next afternoon, so plan accordingly. Our flight was the next morning, so we had to arrange (and pay) for shipping back home.

Response from the operator: Aloha, and thank you for such a thoughtful review! We’re so glad your whole group—from the kids to the grandparents—had such a fun hands-on experience creating together. A pufferfish, vase, and starfish make an amazing trio, and it’s wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed learning from Louis and exploring our gallery of fine glass art as well. We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back again soon! Mahalo.

    Great experience!

Last minute activity with our family of 6. Paul was so helpful and fun! We made a bowl, a cup, a starfish and a fish and they all came out amazing!! Would highly recommend this activity for anyone looking to do something different. The studio is cool and has tons of amazing pieces for sale. There is a large open viewing area so you can watch the real Artists at work.

Response from the operator: Aloha Annette, and thank you for your review! We’re so glad your family decided to join us for a last-minute adventure and had such a great time creating together. A bowl, cup, starfish, and fish make for a wonderful collection, and we love hearing that each piece turned out so well. It’s also great to know you enjoyed exploring the gallery and watching our artists at work—that behind-the-scenes experience is one of our favorite parts of the studio to share. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome your family back again soon!

Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.

How much does Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people cost?

    +

Prices start at $900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.

Is Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Three Piece Glassblowing Lesson for up to 6 people start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Maui?

    +

Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Maui?

    +

April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Maui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
