We will meet at Liberty Landing Marina where you will start your excursion. We will go through a safety talk and familiarize yourself with the luxury yacht. We will then depart and begin our time on the water.

Governors Island National Monument
Governors Island is a 172-acre island in New York Harbor, within the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is located approximately 800 yards south of Manhattan Island, and is separated from Brooklyn to the east by the 400-yard-wide Buttermilk Channel. The National Park Service administers a small portion of the north end of the island as the Governors Island National Monument, including two former military fortifications named Fort Jay and Castle Williams. The Trust for Governors Island operates the remaining 150 acres, including 52 historic buildings, as a public park. About 103 acres of the land area is fill, added in the early 1900s to the south of the original island.

Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States. The copper statue, a gift from the people of France, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and its metal framework was built by Gustave Eiffel. The statue was dedicated on October 28, 1886. The statue is a figure of Libertas, the Roman Goddess of Liberty. She holds a torch above her head with her right hand, and in her left hand carries a tabula ansata inscribed JULY IV MDCCLXXVI (July 4, 1776 in Roman numerals), the date of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. A broken chain and shackle lie at her feet as she walks forward, commemorating the national abolition of slavery following the American Civil War. After its dedication, the statue became an icon of freedom and of the United States, seen as a symbol of welcome to immigrants arriving by sea.

Best private cruise on the bay
Great day on the bay. Capt Barry was great, accommodating, informative, and always friendly. We went as close as we could to the Statue, Ellis Island, and with a NYC backdrop, we had amazing day. Great pictures and memories. Would do again.

Best private cruise we've had
This was a mothers day outing and Capt Barry was exactly what she needed for a relaxing cruise in NY bay. We arrived a little early but walked around the pier. Capt Barry met us and welcomed us to his boat. He was always in the shadow and also engaging with us and our kids. Made us feel at ease and we totally enjoyed the cruise in NY harbor. Cruised to Statue and Ellis Island while having the NYC backdrop in perfect view. We never felt rushed either and we enjoyed every minute. Highly Recommended and would do it again.
