Worth every penny
Did it last year and had to do it this year. We are both 60 and we plan on doing it until they tell us we're too old! We timed it with the outgoing tide so the ride up the Hudson was flat and you could hit some good speeds. The East river is always a guessing game once you get past were the Long Island sound flows in, it can be bumpy but it's still fun. Trying to put together some people for another ride in August. The owner is great. When I had questions, he got back to me personally. All the people who work there are easy going, when your job is to ride a waverunner why wouldn't you be? Anyway, definitely recommend!

Jetting to sea it all baby!!!
We had an amazing time with Rob for our 2.5hr tour of the city. Even though we are from the city it was an amazing way to see the city. If you go see if you can request Rob who was patient with us since we weren’t the best riding the waves and were going a little slow but even then we had a great time! I recommend this to everyone!!!
Response from the operator: Gladys Thank you for your high recommendation. We're thrilled you had a great time and that, even as a NYC resident, you appreciated how amazing it was to see the city on a jet-ski, from the perspective of being on the waters of both the Hudson and East Rivers. I will share your kind words with our guide, Rob; and, now that you're a pro, we expect to see you again for another ride! Adam Owner

Most Incredible & Unique NYC Experience for Tourists AND Locals
This was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever done in NYC, especially for being a local. I have lived here a total of 8 years and cannot stop telling my friends how amazing this jet ski tour was. We were able to do the sunset tour and I have never seen Manhattan look so beautiful on a warm summer evening. Not only is the skyline impressive, but you get to view it while enjoying the freedom of jet skiing. The owner Adam is an absolute pleasure to speak to as well. Adam - please do more marketing so more people know about this INCREDIBLE experience! I absolutely loved it!
Response from the operator: Hi WorldTraveler! Well, you just did some terrific marketing for us via your most kind and informative review. We're thrilled your experience with us was "INCREDIBLE" and, as a resident of NYC, you appreciated seeing the many sites it has to offer from the perspective of being on a fun-filled jet-ski on the water. Please keep telling your friends about us and come back for another ride soon! Thanks again for taking the time to give us an awesome shout-out! Adam Owner

Impressive Experience
A unique perspective on an iconic skyline. The freedom and joy of motorcycling on water while taking in the grandiosity of Manhattan is not to be missed. The 2 1/2 hour tour allows you to feel adventurous as you circle the entire island and "touch" with your eyes all 5 boroughs. To experience a "dip" north of the George Washington Bridge, pass by Yankee Stadium, the famous Pepsi sign, United Nations, Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty all in an adrenaline charged 2 1/2 hours makes this experience a "bargain". Tour guides Rachel and Tina were SPECTACULAR, engaging, caring, fun and downright nice! Overall a "10".
Response from the operator: Hi Jimmy! We appreciate this very awesome and informative review, and are thrilled that your tour with us garnered such high marks. There is little to add to your most articulate description of the longer, 2-1/2 hour tour, only to say that we are so glad it was everything you had hoped it would be. I will share your kind comments with the "spectacular" Rachel and Tina, and hope that you come back and see us again soon! Adam Owner

Simply Amazing!
Honestly the best thing we did in new York! We got to see so many parts of the island we wouldn't have seen had we not done the tour. Exhilarating but also felt extremely safe considering the Hudson river is extremely busy! Worth every penny and have recommended to so many friends since returning home to the UK. Alix and Andy
Response from the operator: Hi Alix and Andy! Thank you for your high recommendation! We are so pleased that your tour with us among the "best things you did while visiting NYC." Seeing the city from the perspective of being on a jet ski on the water is truly an amazing experience, and we're thrilled that you thought so as well. We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip to NYC and do hope your friends from the UK reach out to us as well. Thanks again! Adam Owner

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jersey City.
How much does The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr) cost?
+
Prices start at $385 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jersey City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr) take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jersey City is not rushed.
Is The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jersey City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr)?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jersey City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jersey City and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Manhattan Loop and Statue of Liberty Jet Ski Tour (2.5 hr) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jersey City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jersey City?
+
Jersey City offers Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island departures from Liberty State Park, skyline photo cruises, waterfront cycling and quick PATH access into Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Jersey City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Washington D.C., Niagara Falls & Philadelphia 3-Day Tour from NYC, Niagara Falls 2-Day Tour from NYC with Corning & Finger Lakes, 5-Day Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City from NYC. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jersey City?
+
April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jersey City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
