Brilliant tour in San Francisco with Ben.

We got lots of attention 😎

Anthony was great-Very informative and engaging. He took us to all the key spots and told us a little bit about everything all along the way. Thankfully, he knew all the bathroom stops along the way😎 We got a lot of attention and it was fun to wave to all the spectators. We got a little bit of rain and Anthony was nice enough to offer us ponchos, but we didn’t need them. The blankets were perfect to keep us warm. The location for pick up and drop off was perfect because we were able to grab a bite to eat after at one of the local restaurants and then walk for a few miles to see all the piers. Overall great experience and a very unique way to see the city.

    Excellent Tour!

Our tour guide was Brian, & he was fantastic. I added an extra hour onto the tour, and it was expensive but worth it. We saw Ft. Point, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Painted Ladies, the Palace of Fine Arts, Haight-Ashbury, Lands End, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, China Town, Little Italy, & the headquarters of Lucasfilm with the newly opened gift shop for Skywalker Ranch. Brian was friendly & engaging throughout the tour, answering questions & pointing out areas of interest. We could tell he enjoyed his job & the history of San Francisco. This tour was a highlight of our visit.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re thrilled your private custom Lucky Tuk Tuk tour was such a highlight of your visit—and we love hearing that the extra hour proved worth it. That upgrade can make a huge difference when you want to go beyond the basics and really explore more of San Francisco’s neighborhoods, viewpoints, and hidden gems. Brian will appreciate the kind words. He genuinely loves showing off the city, sharing its history, and helping guests build a route that covers both the icons and the unexpected surprises. Sounds like you packed a lot into one adventure—which is exactly what a private San Francisco Tuk Tuk tour is made for. Thanks again for riding with Lucky Tuk Tuk Private Group Tours. We’d love to show you even more next time… because somehow there are still places in San Francisco we didn’t squeeze in!

Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.

How much does Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6) cost?

    +

Prices start at $229 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6) take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.

Is Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6)?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private San Francisco 2.5 Hr Custom Tour - Lucky Tuk Tuk (max 6) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Francisco?

    +

San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Francisco?

    +

September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Francisco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
