Best day ever. Road to Hana without a guide wouldA private tour with Robbie… unforgettable!
We had a great time.Robbie was knowledgeable and professional. We were able to do so many activities that we might not have been able to if we had chosen a group tour due to physical limitations of other guests. We definitely would have not known how to navigate to all the sites if we went alone. My husband wanted to jump the 45 ft falls. Robbie went into the water to make sure it was deep enough! He also swam out to the black rock to make sure he was safe and able to dive and swim back to the beach. He knew so much about the area and made sure we were safe and had a great time. He took several pics on his cell and with his camera. He gives cell phone photos right away and sends the camera photos after editing. Nice having someone to take photos.

Absolute blast!!
Absolutely the best tour and experience we had while in Maui! Robbie was awesome and had so many great stories and memories along the way. From the beautiful scenery to the breathtaking waterfalls. Robbie gives you a behind the scenes look at the Road to Hana that many don’t get to experience. A huge plus is that he also drives the whole road so you can just sit back and enjoy the views the entire time. This tour made our honeymoon even more magical and we highly recommend it to anyone!! 🤙🏻

Best Hāna tour!
This Road to Hana tour with Robbie was absolutely incredible! It felt like two experiences in one—a guided adventure through Maui’s most beautiful spots and a professional photo session. The photos turned out amazing—better than we could have imagined. The quality of the photos were absolutely stunning! Robbie captured romantic shots of us under waterfalls, surrounded by lush jungle greenery, and in the serene bamboo forest. We also took amazing photos at the black sand and red sand beaches, each with its own unique vibe. Every stop along the way felt like a dream, and now we have beautiful memories preserved forever. This Hāna tour felt like its own photoshoot in paradise and the adventures that accompanied we’re out of this world! Highly recommend this tour!

Trip of a Lifetime
I never write reviews, but this time I couldn't let this opportunity go by. Robbie was the best part of our trip! His personal touch made Road to Hana absolutely amazing. I really thought our family trip would be a once in a lifetime. But after Robbie, we are already planning another trip all the way from DC.

A Breathtaking Private Tour of the Road to Hana with a True Professional Photographer
If you're looking for an unforgettable experience on the Road to Hana, I cannot recommend this private tour highly enough! From start to finish, this journey was an absolute dream. The best part? It felt like we were on our own exclusive adventure, far removed from the crowds that typically swarm the famous spots. Our guide was not just a knowledgeable local but a true professional photographer with an eye for capturing the beauty around us. From the moment we started, it was clear that this wasn’t just a tour—it was like being part of a private photoshoot, but in the most natural, laid-back way. We were taken to secluded, hidden spots that I never would have found on my own—pristine waterfalls, lush trails, and secret beaches. It was a true escape from the tourist-heavy destinations, and every stop was more awe-inspiring than the last. The photography wasn’t just about snapping a quick photo; it felt like we were in our own production. My favorite part was cliff diving into crystal-clear waters—by far one of the coolest things I’ve ever done! And the best part? We had the whole place to ourselves. No crowds just the sense of adventure that can’t be matched. We also got to climb to areas I would have thought were completely inaccessible, and each viewpoint was more spectacular than the last. The guide’s expertise made even the most challenging spots feel safe and easy to navigate. It was the kind of experience I’d typically only see on Instagram but got to live in real-time. The photos and videos taken during the tour were absolutely incredible—stunning landscapes, moments of pure adrenaline, and perfectly framed shots that made me feel like I was starring in a travel documentary. This tour is a 100% must-try experience. If you’re looking for something more than just a typical road to Hana tour, this is it. I can’t wait to return!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.
How much does Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.
Is Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Road To Hana Tour with Professional Photos Included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Maui?
+
Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Maui?
+
April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Maui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
