The Houseboat backwater programme has been designed for those who like to visit best canals in and around Aleppey . The houseboat make a trip thorugh the below beautiful rivers and canals with an hour lunch break. . Houseboat makes a trip through some of the beautiful villages in Aleppey. These are Kainakari Village and Kuttithod and boat reach a place called Kuttamangalam. We provide 1hr country boat to experience the narrow canal called Kuttamangalam canal where houseboat cannot make a trip. This 1hr trip gives breath taking scenic beauty of the local village, paddy field etc. After an hour of this country boat trip, houseboat start moving towards its final location for halt. The boat halt between 1730hrs and 1800hrs for overnight stay.

House Boat Experience
Good day, It was a fabulous trip and the arrangements made by Tour Operator Sree Tours is awesome. We are feeling like staying at home town. We didn't find any lapse starting from pick up arrangements made at Kottayam Railway Station, Organising Breakfast at Aaryas n dropped at Kumarakom Boat Jetty. We (7 members in our family) had a wonderful experience in House Boat which we booked for 1 day. There Mr Sree Kumar (Tour Operator) have impressed by organising a tasty Chocolate Cake for my daughter who have excelled in her 10th CBSE Board Exams by scoring 495/500. The House Boat is well maintained n with supportive staff which includes Boat Pilot (who have explained about the places during our journey n also gave opportunity for us to operate House Boat for a while) , good cook n his support staff, who have provided welcome drink followed by sumptuous lunch, evening snacks, dinner n next day morning breakfast. In the night we all had a wonderful experience by playing Antakshari after a long gap which really took away all our worries which we feel during our routine days. We could see only Happiness in all our faces throughout the journey. We strongly recommend to make use of Sree Tours while going for House Boat Trip or any sight seeing/leisure trips in Kerala. Sree Tours which is operated by Mr Sreekumar is more professional, trustworthy person and overall we could see a quality in their service. He is well assisted by a charming support staff Ms Gopika who is kind enough to explain everything in detail despite our repeated queries. Overall we could rate their service by giving 10/10. Excellent houseboat and tour services
Beautiful and very clean houseboat. Delicious local Kerala food, loved the fresh Kareemeen fry. Srees tours are great to book any travel plans in Kerala.

Good staff, but not the luxury experience expected
We recently stayed on this houseboat in Alleppey. The staff was very polite and helpful, and we appreciate their efforts during our stay. However, the overall condition of the boat did not match the “luxury” experience that was advertised. The photos provided look good, but there are certain things that cannot really be understood from pictures alone. Some areas felt dusty and rusty, there were signs of seepage, a few lights were broken, foam on the upper deck seating was torn, and the AC was dripping water. The bathtub was also not working. And smell in the toilet was horrible. I am generally not someone who complains easily, but the difference between the expectation and reality was quite noticeable. With better maintenance, this could be a much better experience.
