Wonderful Day Trip
This was an amazing experience. It was such a delight to see the countryside and the beautiful chateaux. Lucien our guide was absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable and kept us all engaged the entire day. Vic (our driver) was great as well. There were three of us, and the van was comfortable with plenty of bottled water. We could not have asked for better weather, better guides or a better experience. The lunch was delicious. Who doesn't love crepes? :) Fantastique! Book this tour if you are looking for a little break from the city and would like to see the beauty of the Loire Valley. And be sure to book with My Private Paris for an unforgettable experience.
Response from the operator: We are sharing with Vic and Lucien this amazing review right away ! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this Katie ! A thousand merci.

Best Private Tours Ever
We actually did five (5) tours with My Private Paris, and they were all excellent. I have to say, my family really enjoys tours where we learn a lot and do things in an efficient manner, with someone who knows the ins and outs of a location. My Private Tours was the best tour company we have ever worked with. All their tour guides were so knowledgable, kind, and entertaining. We wish they were available all over the world! We would recommend them to anyone!
Response from the operator: Bonjour Noelle, merci beaucoup for your beautiful lines about our team and the quality of services we provided to you and your family. We hope to be all around the world one of these days too ! ;) A bientôt in Paris,

Chateaux and Leonardo da Vinci!
Our delightful driver/guide Joel, met us at our Paris hotel right on time. We drove for an hour and stopped for a morning coffee/croissant break and then onto our first chateau. Joel filled us in on the history of the area and the various chateau’s. The first one we visited was Chenonceau. It was beautiful as always and also decorated for the holidays. Next a wonderful lunch nearby, followed by a visit to Leonardo da Vinci’s home, Clos Luce. The finale was to Chambord which was also decked out in holiday finery. Then back to Paris arriving late afternoon.
Response from the operator: Bonjour, Thank you for your kind review however I am not sure you have booked this day trip with our company, My Private Paris. Indeed we don't have a guide named Joel..! Thank you

Amazing Tours with My Private Paris
Scheduled 9 different tours with My Private Paris, the trip to the Loire Valley to visit the royal castles was just one of them and all were exceptional in their own right. Having a private tour guide for myself and two nieces created a much better experience and learning adventure. Was in Paris for 8 full days and the tours enhanced our trip, even though my nieces were hesitant to have a guide, after each tour they couldn’t believe how beneficial it was having a guide (both are well traveled) -Each guide had their own personality and engagement that made the difference- we enjoyed the time we spent with all of our guides, each one sharing unique perspectives. I really appreciate how My Private Paris tours helped us create incredible lifelong experiences
Response from the operator: Bonjour Stefan, What a beautiful week we have spent with you and your nieces. I was lucky to be your guide at Versailles but I can say in the name of all our team, we all have had a wonderful time with you. Kind regards,

Fantastic day in the Loire Valley
We had the most incredible day in the Loire valley with Valentine and our chauffeur Pascal. Thanks very much to both of you for what was definitely was the highlight of our trip to France. Clo Lucé, Chenonceau and Chambord are such wonderful places to discover, full of charm and history, even in winter. We couldn't be thankful enough for that ! Merci My Private Paris...

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé cost?
+
Prices start at $479 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Loire Valley Day Trip: Chambord, Chenonceau & Clos Lucé start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
