5 Star Guide with a 1 star Company
THE BAD: We showed up on time for our private tour, and no guide! We reached out to the company, but got no reply via the app, WhatsApp, or phone. We contacted Viator, but they received no response from the company either. More than half an hour later, the tour company messaged us via WhatsApp and told us there was an emergency and they were getting us a new guide. Before this, every other guide for every private tour confirmed the day before. Not this time. They said the tour would now start at 1100, then 1130. We reluctantly agreed. As if we had a choice. THE GOOD: The guide who did the tour was OUTSTANDING! His name was ANDY. He was terrific. SUPER knowledgeable. He took us to a temple off the tour, which was fabulous. OVERALL: The tour was great; the stops were wonderful; the guide was EXCELLENT. The experience was marred by poor handling and customer service by the company. I highly recommend the tour; I am reluctant to recommend this company.
