Beautiful Kathmandu Valley

We spent three days with Narayan and had a fantastic time. He certainly wasn't responsible for the beautiful weather, but he certainly was for the excellent route planning, the breathtaking viewpoints, and the great atmosphere. He took us to Nagarkot for sunrise, to Shivapuri Peak and showed us Bhaktapur and Lalitpur-Patan. He's just as knowledgeable about culture and history as he is about nature, making him a great guide for any terrain.

No Show

The tour provider was a no show - we tried contacting them numerous times via phone and message - phone switched off and no reply message. We ended up spending more money to book through our hotel.

Response from the operator: Hello, We are very sorry we Permit we will do care full trip.

Excellent

A really thorough tour of all of the key sights in Kathmandu. Our guide Narayan was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also took us to a fantastic place for lunch which was traditional Nepalese food. We felt very safe and looked after. The driver was also courteous and efficient. A great one day tour of Kathmandu, would throughly recommend!

Response from the operator: Hello Emma Thank you for your Review.

Had such a wonderful time on this trip! My tour guide was Narayan Makaju and he did a great job making me feel at home! He took me to all of the best spots and to some great shopping areas, and lunch was amazing as well. Would recommend this tour to anyone trying to see everything that Kathmandu has to offer!

Great one-day experience

I highly recommend this tour. You can see all the major city attractions in one day with very friendly and well-informed tour guide Narayan. The lunch in a local place is a good opportunity to try the real Nepalese food.

Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch cost?

+

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
