Khanh guide
Wonderful experience! Khanh and the owner of the bicycle shop(I forgot his name) accompanied us! They were both fantastic. The ride was gorgeous and a bit exciting at times bc the city streets are chaotic! The scenery was gorgeous and the food was good too! We have been on many tours and Khanh was my favorite for his knowledge and relaxed nature.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We are thrilled Khanh and the team provided such a memorable experience. It is wonderful to hear you enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and local flavors despite the city's energy. Knowing Khanh is your favorite guide truly makes our day. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting adventure soon!

A wonderful experience
We loved this tour! We enjoyed the ride and the food so much. We would never have figured out all these wonderful places and meals. It was really delightful. A wonderful surprise at every stop. The ride is for confident street cyclists as you are riding close to cars. I felt very safe and enjoyed of the beaten track alleys and bike friendly paths.
Response from the operator: We're thrilled you loved the tour and found our hidden gems delightful! It was a pleasure showing you the authentic side of our city. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming you back.

Unforgettable food and town tour experience
This tour was amazing. It is much more than a food tour. Huy was a great guide. We hadn’t been on bikes in a while and he was very patient and kind when we needed to go slow. Would 10/10 recommend.
Response from the operator: We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our tour experience, and it brings us immense joy to know that it exceeded your expectations. Huy is indeed an exceptional guide, and we're delighted to hear that his patience and kindness made your biking adventure all the more enjoyable. Your kind words will surely brighten his day! We truly appreciate your recommendation and your perfect score of 10/10. It means the world to us! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another memorable experience soon.

Great way to see the area
I (not my partner) was a little nervous of riding a bike around Hoi An due to being unfamiliar with the style of traffic. Our guide did an excellent job of instructing and checking on us throughout the evening. He was professional, informative, and interesting to talk with during the evening. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was because there was too much food. We felt wasteful. Our guide listened to our request for no more food and showed us around Old Town at night with all the colorful lanterns and many people enjoying the night.
Response from the operator: Dear Adam, Thank you so much for you sharing a feedback. We are welcome to you join our active day tours in other destinations (Cambodia & Thailand) in future. Kind Regards, Pagna

Must do if you love both cycling and sampling foods
Had a nice small tour with An last week. He was very informative about all the things we came across on our journey, from the types of plants encountered, to the history of the dishes/stores we visited, etc. All up, the tour let's you try several dishes that you might not normally have come across. The bike ride is also really peaceful and can be done at a pace you're comfortable with. An had great English and kept things interesting. 10/10 experience.
Response from the operator: Dear shemanman, Thank you so much for a 10/10 experience. We are very happy that you really enjoyed the bike ride as well as tasting authentic food with our guide An that day. Each dish/store is chosen carefully that we hope to bring all in one bike trip. Thanks again for biking with us and please do not forget to find us again on your next trip to Vietnam or somewhere in S.E Asia. Best regards and Take care,

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 146 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike?
+
Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Hoi An Evening Food Tastings Tour by Bike start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
