One of the best guide recently
Ozgur(Ozzy) is the best guide we had in many years of our travels. I and my wife with Ozzy spend about 8 hours together talking, walking and eating. Ozzy showed and explained a great story of Istanbul, shops and restaurants. I was feeling like I am with a longtime friend that I haven’t seen him for a long time. and my long time friend shared his knowledge of the city and it’s history. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking , wishing for ^^^. I felt instead of we hired a guide rather we had spent the day exploring Istanbul with a friend. We highly recommend booking a tour with him.
Response from the operator: Hello Mr. Lee , we are pleased to see such a wonderful review. Our guide Ozzy always does his job with passion.Feedback like yours always push us to do better.Thank you for your time and wonderful words.Looking forward to seeing you in the future again.

Great Tour with Oscar
We did a tour with Oscar that was spectacular! He was timely, picked us up right at our hotel, helped us learn to navigate the public transportation system, and had great knowledge of the sites. He allowed us to customize our tour on the go (lunch stop, spice bazaar, etc) and was overall an excellent guide! He was also very helpful and accommodating when our flight was delayed and we had to make last minute changes.
Response from the operator: Thank you Paige for your time and Wonderfull words. That push us to do better and better every tour we give. All the best.

Thorough Introduction to Istanbul with a Wonderful Guide
By every measure our introduction to Istanbul with Serkan Elbasan exceeded our expectations. At every venue we were able to ‘skip the line’ with the tix he secured in advance. He adjusted the itinerary in accordance with our requests. He suggested an outstanding outdoor cafe with authentic Turkish food near the end of our experience. At all sites Serkan went into depth about history and cultural significance - indeed, the elapsed time went beyond the 7 hours promised (a good thing!). The next time we are in Istanbul, we will schedule a private tour with Serkan!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Guided İstanbul City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Private Guided İstanbul City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Guided İstanbul City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Private Guided İstanbul City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 118 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided İstanbul City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Guided İstanbul City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Guided İstanbul City Tour?
+
Around 41 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Guided İstanbul City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
