Fun and interesting

Although there was a delay with pickup from the hotel due to illness the replacement driver was amazing. The drive to the waterfalls was smooth with our driver stopping at areas we wanted to view along the way. Once we had arrived in the area and had been introduced to the local guide we set off for our walk down to the bottom of the waterfalls. Our guide was so knowledgeable of the area giving us information on the area, the people and the culture. Lunch on the way back up from the waterfalls was delicious.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review We sincerely apologize for the initial delay and appreciate your understanding. We’re so glad to hear that our replacement driver made a great impression and that you enjoyed a smooth and scenic journey to the waterfalls. It’s wonderful that our local guide helped bring the area to life with their knowledge and insights. And we’re happy to hear you enjoyed the lunch too! We hope to welcome you again soon for another memorable experience.

The day didn't go very well. Despite the confirmation received the day before, the driver (Ibrahim) was 45 minutes late, during which time we sent messages that remained unanswered. We eventually reached the agency, which would later tell us that he had the wrong hotel. We had no explanation or excuse from the driver... On the way, he stopped for coffee and his smoke. Then, finally left, we had a second stop by the police this time, for speeding. After going the wrong way and taking us to the sources, we arrived at about 12:30 at the waterfalls. He introduces us to the manager of the restaurant and left us with her. She's the one who suggested we eat before taking the 2-hour walk with the guide. The restaurant is authentic and the meal was very good. Contrary to what was advertised, we had to pay for the water served with the meal. Then we followed Mohamed for the visit. He speaks very good French and answered all our questions without problem. We did not swim given the world, but the ride on the boat (fees apply) was enough to see the power of the waterfall. During the whole tour we did not receive water which was included and we had to buy ourselves a bottle. On the way back, our driver was waiting for us while drinking his coffee. We finished our water bottles and then left. At no time did we receive any drop of water, supposedly included in the price. Overall dissatisfied with the day. I don't recommend her leaving Marrakech. There are other waterfalls (according to the driver) closer and probably in better company.

On top 👍

We visited the Ouzoudes waterfalls as a family. For this we left Marrakech with Oualid Mellouki as private driver. Very kind and considerate. He speaks French and English very well. Convenient to learn a lot about the country and the ride passes faster. We also showed each other some music. The ride went very well, comfortable and modern car. We recommend it without problem.

Response from the operator: Merci pour votre avis Heureux que vous ayez passé un bon moment avec Oualid. À une prochaine fois

Fantastic. Highly Reccomend.

This was an amazing trip. I would highly reccomend paying the extra for a private trip. Our driver Youness was amazing. So friendly and did everything to make us comfortable. He picked us up at our Riad. There was water, WiFi, phone chargers & air conditioning in the very comfortable car. We stopped whenever we needed on the way. When we arrived we had a private tour guide (included in price) who was also amazing. Being private tour meant we were away from big crowds and got fantastic pictures and lots of information. Youness was waiting for us when we were finished and took us back to our Riad, again stopping when needed. I would reccomend and use Youness for all driving services when in Marrakesh.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review We're thrilled to hear you had such a fantastic experience on your trip. Youness truly goes above and beyond, and we're glad he made your journey so comfortable and enjoyable. We're also happy to hear that the private tour and guide added to your experience, allowing you to avoid the crowds and capture those perfect moments. Your recommendation means the world to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Marrakesh soon

Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls cost?

+

Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls take?

+

Plan for about 0.1 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 0.1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Full-day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
