Day Trip to Montenegro
Had a great day trip of Montenegro with Filip! From a stunning early morning view to a boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks to a delicious meal before our drive back to town, Filip gave us a detailed history lesson throughout our drive along the stunning Adriatic coastline. Our walking tour guide in Kotor was also very knowledgeable and shared a lot of personal anecdotes as well as the history of the town.

Highly recommend!

Wonderful Day in Kotor Bay Montenegro
Filip was a fantastic tour guide for the day to Kotor Bay from Dubrovnik. Communication and pickup prior to the tour was flawless. He went out of his way to make sure our tour was the best and also took us to a great spot for breakfast and lunch. Was also accommodating for stops when necessary as traveling all day with an 11 & 15 year old needs flexibility. We booked another trip to Mostar, Bosnia in the coming days. Don’t hesitate, book with Filip you won’t regret it!

A 10/10! See you next time, Filip!
This is my first review ever after 100s of trips. I had to. I used Trip Advisor to find Filip so I had to pay it forward… What an amazing day with Filip during the Dubrovnik to Kotor day trip, leaving at 6:05 and returning to the Buza Gate at 17:00. He expertly guided us thru the border crossings. Very safe driver in a comfortable, spacious car with no car sickness at all! He spoke fluent English. Great food recommendations. We had very informative discussions about everything, from the history to current events, life in Croatia and Montenegro, sports, pop culture, his lived experiences, food, and things to do on our return trip. He had something interesting to say regarding nearly everything we passed. In the pics you’ll see Kotor and Our Lady of the Rocks. Striking architecture. Not too crowded. In Kotor, I wished I captured (as in take photos of) the very well cared for street cats of Kotor. Finally a special thank you to our Kotor guide who led us around the city, Ivaca. What a pleasant gentleman who has lived in Kotor since birth, serving as a lawyer and musician. We learned so much while having a great time with him. Thank you Ivaca! A 10/10! See you next time, Filip!

Perfect Way To See Montenegro
We had the most wonderful tour with Filip today! He is incredibly knowledgable on the region and taught us so much, never shying away from any of our many questions. He is funny, energetic, organized, and a great driver 😊 Filip kept tabs on the border crossings throughout the day so that we did not have to wait in long lines, and very thoughtfully chose to drive us through Bosnia on our way back upon learning that we had never been. The local guide in Kotor was fantastic, as well, and we loved the restaurant Philip brought us to for lunch. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

Why this scores 84
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik cost?
+
Prices start at $612 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 477 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik?
+
Around 167 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
