Later you will enjoy the architecture and charming squares and cafes of the Old Town of Kotor, climb above to Trojica Hill for panoramic views of the Bay, and end in the town of Tivat/Porto Montenegro for leisurely stroll and lunch before heading back to Croatia. We hope you join us on this tour since Montenegro awaits you!!!

    What you'll see and do

    1. We will stop at Verige, the narrowest part of sea passage between inner and outer part of Kotor Bay. Great photo opportunities of inner part of Kotor bay, steep mountains descending into the sea, towns of Risan and Perast with sailboats, and an occasional cruise ship passing through the strait.

      15 minutes here

    2. Perast

Perast is tiny medieval city of only 160 inhabitants, located between vertical mountain and Kotor Bay. During our stop in Perast, guests will have opportunity to marvel the Baroque Captains' palaces and numerous churches with Saint Nicolas's Cathedral and its bell tower - the tallest in all of Kotor Bay. In front of the city are 2 islands - Our Lady of the Rocks and Saint George Island. Our Lady of the Rocks is man made island in 17.ct with gorgeous Barque church and museum and can be visited on a short private boat ride from Perast.

      60 minutes here

    3. Kotor Old Town

Upon arrival to Kotor, once an independent city-state, and from 14.ct under Venetian influence, you will have time to explore its narrow streets, sunny squares, and churches followed by time for lunch (optional). We suggest entering the Romanesque Cathedral of Saint Triphon, Maritime Museum of Kotor, and Saint Nicolas Serbian Orthodox Church. Possible climb to Saint John's Fort above the city of Kotor (750ft altitude). Your guide will explain you all the important sites beforehand and hand you the free map of the city to explore it on your own.

    4. Mount Vrmac

Trojica Hill Pass is located between Kotor and Grbalj. We will do 2 panoramic photo-stops. The second photo stop is just after the pass with great views of outer Kotor Bay, Flower Island, and the city of Tivat, its airport and marina.

Have a stroll through its bustling sunny promenade and have a snack or lunch in one of the many Porto Montenego stylish or Tivat town more traditional restaurants.

    Great Montenegro trip!

We enjoyed our trip to Montenegro. Our guide Baldo Stanos was great, we especially liked how he brought the recent history of the region to life from his personal lens. In Montenegro, Our Lady of the Rocks is a great location with an interesting story. The ancient city of Kotor is nice but was crowded given a couple of cruise ships were docked in the bay right outside its walls. The region is beautiful, and we really enjoyed learning more about it.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Montenegro with Baldo. His personal insights and first hand knowledge of the region’s recent history are a special part of the experience, and we are glad he helped bring the story of this fascinating area to life. Thank you for choosing us and for sharing your experience.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd. cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd. take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 122 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd.?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd. suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd.?

    +

Around 43 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private full day Montenegro tour from Dubrovnik by Doria ltd. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
