Great crew and fishing trip
We came out to Fort Lauderdale primarily to go on a fishing trip with the opportunity to catch some exciting fish and not have to travel too far offshore to do so. What a great experience. Captain Will and Mike were great as knowledgeable guides and fishermen, as well as being great guys. We did a mixture of trolling and bottom fishing and combined to catch around 20-25 fish including a 53" amber jack, an absolute tank of a barracuda, as well as a really nice king mackerel. We had plenty of bonito and some snapper to keep us busy too. It was nice to have an indoor area to go get out of the sun periodically and use the head as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would go out with this crew any time. Thanks guys for making our trip such a special one.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! It was an absolute pleasure fishing with you and your family! We're so glad we could put together a productive day with a nice mix of trolling and bottom fishing, and that the amberjack, kingfish, barracuda, snapper, and plenty of bonito kept the rods bent throughout the trip. Mike and I truly appreciate the kind words. We work hard to create a fun, comfortable experience for our guests, whether they're seasoned anglers or just looking to enjoy a day on the water. We're happy you enjoyed the boat's amenities and that the short run offshore gave you more time fishing. We're certainly very lucky here in Fort Lauderdale to have deep water so close to shore! Thank you so much again for choosing us, and Mike and I certainly look forward to fishing with you again the next time you're in South Florida! 🎣🐟 Tight lines, Capt. Will 954-522-9399

Great charter and great...
Great charter and great crew . The boat had plenty of space . We had one hell of a fight with a 12-15ft hammerhead shark the crew was with us every step of the way to reel it in
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the awesome review! We’re really glad you enjoyed your Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale with us. A 12–15 ft hammerhead is no joke — that’s the kind of fight you feel in your arms the next day! Battles like that are exactly why we love what we do. It takes teamwork, patience, and a crew that’s locked in every step of the way. I’m proud of how our crew stayed right there with you, coaching, adjusting, and making sure you got the full experience safely and the right way. And I’m glad you appreciated the space and comfort on the boat — when you’re in a fight like that, room to move makes all the difference. That was one hell of a fish and one hell of a day. We’d love to have you back out anytime for round two. Tight lines, Captain Will 🎣 954-522-9399

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.
How much does Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale cost?
+
Prices start at $838 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter in Fort Lauderdale start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour, Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?
+
November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
