Best choice ever!
With limited time in Albuquerque, it was the best decision to pick this tour. Anil gave us great information and a good understanding of the history and cultures of the area. He was great keeping us on pace so we could see what was important to us, but without making us feel rushed. We’re still talking about what we saw and learned. This tour was everything we wanted it to be and more.

Fabulous Private Guided Tour of Albuquerque
We had an absolutly wonderful tour of Albuquerque that covered the highlights of things to see and do. Not only that, but it was adapted to our wants and needs! For example, we couldn't do too much in the way of hiking, and our guide found a place for us with a walk to see the petroglyphs that wasnt as strenuous as a miles long hike. Our guide was friendly and helpful. I was able to call and text ahead of time with questions and got prompt friendly help. With only one day, it was a thrill for us to see the sights, eat and shop in Albuquerque. You will get a stress-free day of exploring this beautiful city. It is WELL woth it!
Response from the operator: Thanks Richard, we are glad you guys were able to make the most out of your day at Abq and we were able to add positive and beautiful memories on your life. Thanks for taking the time to provide the review. We appreciate it

Bill from New Zealand
Guide Anil is one cool dude. Will take you anywhere you want to go but if you're clueless like me then he'll make suggestions. View from the top of Watermelon Hill is something else.
Response from the operator: Hi Bill, I am glad to hear that you liked your personal tour guide, Anil's, energy and positivity. Will be sure to share that with him. Also glad to hear that you enjoyed your Sandia Tram experience

Six out of five star tour of Albuquerque
Anil our guide was absolutely wonderful. He was so attentive and accommodating, making sure that we were comfortable with the pace, providing us with water and snacks. He was with us every step of the way with tidbits of information on each site which we probably otherwise would not have noticed. We visited the petroglyphs, Rio Grande Nature Center State Park, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and Sandra Mountains as planned, and his recommendations of additional places to go above - Camino 66 and the International Balloon Museum were icing on the cake. We enjoyed his personality and getting to know him. It was well worth every penny we paid, it felt like a real luxury to have a private driver and tour. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone.
Response from the operator: Thanks Linda. Its great to hear that you guys had an awesome tour of Abq and Anil was able to provide you guys a memorable tour.

My husband and I took...
My husband and I took this tour when we visited Albuquerque over Valentine's weekend. It was our first time visiting and we wanted to make the most out of our limited time. It was nice to have the tour guide to do all of the planning and drive us around to the sites. We were able to hit many of the city's top attractions in a single day. Our tour guide, Anil, was very friendly and gave us time to enjoy each site without feeling rushed and gave us some history behind them. He was also willing to adjust the tour to our preferences. I recommend purchasing the optional sky tram passes to go to the top of Sandia Peak...it has incredible views going up, and we a had a nice lunch at the mountain top restaurant. We had a lovely day and feel the tour was a good value and great way to see the city highlights!
Response from the operator: Hi Shea, I am glad you and John had awesome time here at Albuquerque and found our tour worthwhile.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Albuquerque.
How much does Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff) cost?
+
Prices start at $329 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Albuquerque usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff) take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Albuquerque is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Albuquerque, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Albuquerque can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Albuquerque and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day Albuquerque Tour (with Hotel Pickup & Dropoff) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Albuquerque within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Albuquerque?
+
Albuquerque is balloon country: sunrise flights over the Rio Grande valley, plus Sandia Peak tram rides, Old Town and Route 66 tours, petroglyph hikes and Breaking Bad location runs. Weather-cancellation policy is the thing to read before booking a flight. On Outty we rank every Albuquerque experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 8pm ORIGINAL Ghost Tour of Old Town Albuquerque - since 2001!, Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Ride at Sunrise, ABQ Trolley Co. | Best of ABQ City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Albuquerque?
+
October for Balloon Fiesta, otherwise April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Albuquerque?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
