Charles, best guide ever!!

Charles was by far the best guide we had for our 15 day safari. He was with us the first 8 days and pointed out the animals one by one, it was amazing! To be able to see the big 5 up close and personal made me speechless! Charles went above and beyond our expectations! He was patient, my 85 yr old mother traveled with me, helped her in and out of the vehicle and always made sure she was comfortable. We had the best guide ever at the beginning of our trip, we were truly blessed. He helped me to keep a list of names of the animals and birds being photographed so I have a reference when I return home and show the photos to everyone. We had more guides on our trip but Charles was, by far, the most knowledgeable guide, he knew all the species we shot photos of Took extra time to see what we wanted each day and have a plethora of information while we rode in our 4x4. Seriously, if you want the best experience ask for Charles (we called him King Charles)!!

Denis made our trip a once in a lifetime experience

We had Denis for our safari in Kenya and my goodness he made our trip incredible! If your looking for a guide who is genuine and excited about animal’s, birds and wildlife he is the man. Not only did he teach us about the wildlife and agriculture he taught us Swahili (the common language spoken in East Africa). We did lots of 4x4 driving through some muddy roads and he made us feel safe 100% of the time! As a family of 5 he always made sure we were able to access the washroom, and if we needed help getting a price on some goods he was always there to help. I would strongly recommend Denis if you’re looking for an experience to remember, with a guide who has your best interest first.

Driver was right on time and made...

Driver was right on time and made sure we got to airport well in advance of our flight taking into account potential traffic issues, etc. We elected to prearrange our airport transportation through Viator because we had extra luggage due to prior stop in Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. Van was clean and nice, driver was very professional.

Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi cost?

+

Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Departure Transfer in Nairobi start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, Private Tour in Kibera the Largest Slum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
