    100% recommended

Without a doubt the best way to travel from Dubrovnik to Split with a stop in Mostar. Our Guide explained the history and curiosities of the different locations we were traveling on our way and the trip in the minivan was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the best food of our whole trip in Croatia.

One of a kind way to experience Balkan culture

What a day! From the minute we began our excursion, my friend and I hit it off with Ante and during the drive, he shared historical information, personal stories, and specific asides he thought we’d find interesting based on details we’d shared. In addition, the sites visited are unique and the food is incredible - Homemade with love and in the old fashioned way we rarely experience anymore. This is the doorway to knowing Ante’s family a bit and I so appreciated being able to see their land and fields. A personal highlight was meeting the baby donkey who was just 3 days old! The price of the trip was more than I’d usually spend, but we decided to take a chance due to the other enthusiastic reviews, and it was worth every penny. This is a unique experience and the reviews, mine included, can’t really do it justice...see for yourself!

Best Bosnian Home cooked meal experience

Found Private Tours Travel Agency on Tripadvisor as I wanted transportation from Dubrovnik to Split with a stopover in Medjugorie & Mostar. SO SO SO happy we met Ante and that we opted in for the home cooked meal experience. His mother's cooking is beyond amazing and was by far the BEST meal my mother and I had on our vacation (we are vegetarian). Ante's mother even packed a little goodie bag for us when we left and gave us a bottle of homemade wine! After the meal at his mother's home, he drove us to his family's old village, which is mostly abandoned now, and he gave us amazing commentary on the village, his family, the history of the place and how the war changed their lives. Learned so much from this tour. Highly recommend this service for people who need to get from Split to Dubrovnik or Dubrovnik to Split. It was a great use of time to stop by Mostar and also experience a true Bosnian style home cooked meal. Thank you Ante for an amazing experience and hospitality!

    +

    +

How far in advance should I book Private Day Trip :Dubrovnik- Mostar- Split?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
