    Montenegro was a wonderful day

We had a wonderful day and our guide was so good. He picked us up and spent the next 8 hours taking care of us. He was very knowledgeable and took us through the border without much delay explaining what to do each step. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this trip with him and TripAdvisor. The prices was good and Montenegro was beautiful

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for your kind words. It truly means a lot. I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience, and it was a real pleasure meeting you. Warm regards, Ordan

    Simply Sensational!

WOW! WOW! WOW! What a day! What a tour! What a time! While several stops in Montenegro were incredible, none of it would have been possible without our guide -- Ordan! He is the man! On time, knowledgeable, organized and a pleasure to share an entire day with. Our stops in Perast, Kotor and Porto were simply incredible -- different in their own ways, so picturesque and eye-opening. Border crossing went smoothly, aside from traffic. Ordan is a safe driver on what can only be described as some crazy winding mountain roads. He answered all our questions, some silly, gave us timeframes for each stop, and even extended our trip by allowing us to take extra time in several stops -- going so far as to recommend activities as well. So much fun, so much history, so many good moments shared with friends. Highly recommend this tour, and certainly highly recommend Ordan's services as well. He pulled it all together and helped us have an extraordinary day, far beyond anything we thought we would experience!

Response from the operator: Many thanks for your outstanding review! It was a great day despite the unstable weather. I liked to see all of you happy. Cheers!

    Montenegro Day Trip

We were very pleased with our previous tours in Dubrovnik with Ordan, so we decided to do this day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro, which was a remarkable experience. Once again a big reason for this tour being incredibly insightful and memorable was because of Ordan. He was right on time, super friendly, and unbelievably knowledgeable. You could tell he truly loves what he does. We visited the beautiful Kotor Old Town and scenic spots, but what made it feel extra special was how personal and relaxed the whole day was. Ordan shared some facts, gave great recommendations, and made sure we had time to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. We also visited the newly developed promenade in Porto Montenegro which truly added to the experience. If you’re thinking about a Montenegro day trip and you’ll truly be in the best hands!

Response from the operator: Thank you, Leul, for this outstanding review! It was my pleasure.

Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro cost?

    +

Prices start at $616 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
