It was nice to have our...
It was nice to have our guide show us different parts of Dubrovnik that we may not have seen otherwise. I liked that it was customizeable. We also enjoyed the personable experience of our tour guide who actually fought in 1991. He answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable.

Private Tour of the amazing Dubrovnik!!
We had a great experience on a private tour in Dubrovnik with Stipan. Some amazing views and deep insights into the history of the city were provided by our guide. Topped off with an afternoon swim in a stunning locations only the locals would know. Thankyou, a great experience for our first visit to Dubrovnik.

Not that we expected.
The Old Town is incredible, our tour was not that good, that panoramic tour were to short, and we paid for two minivans and a guide in Spanish it were to minivans but just on guide we were expecting that the the tour for Old Town was included, but it was not, We paid to much for that.
Response from the operator: When you book this tour it is written This is a private tour just for your group. We will show you city Dubrovnik and area that are surrounding the Pearl of the Adriatic. On this tour we will do Panorama tour of Dubrovnik. It is not written that you will have walking tour in old town area. I ask you do you want to have walking tour in old town and you answer me that you will speak with your guide on tour and tell here do you want to have walking tour or not. I wish all best to you and your familly

A little of Bosnia in a day
Our trip was actually a private customizable tour of Bosnia and southern Croatia, as we went first along the stunning coastline to the seaside village of Neum before turning inland to visit first the Kravice Waterfalls, wonderful provided you can manage the several hundred steps down (and back up again) for the best viewpoints. Then to the most enjoyable historical town of Mostar where the guide pointed us to a great little restaurant near the famous bridge. Medugorge is for the spiritual, a lovely little town famous for being the foremost Catholic pilgrimage site in the Balkans. You will need to be fitter than I to leave the main pilgrimage Church and outdoor Mass to climb the hill to the location where the Virgin Mary was seen by six children in 1981. Finally there was a short stop at the little medieval village of Pocitelj, with its iconic tower, before returning along the Croatian coastline. You must have your passport and go through Bosnian border control but being pre-season there was minimal delay. Our tour guide was superb and was there to help in any way necessary, and, importantly, was totally punctual at hotel pick up despite a mammoth storm (which quickly passed). A most interesting unrushed tour as the guide managed the time superbly.
Response from the operator: Thanks Brian for nice words. I wish all best to you and your familly.

Private Tour of Croatia
Our private tour with Marco from Smiley Tours was exactly what I hoped for…and more! We arrived in Dubrovnik with Norwegian Cruise Lines and wanted to avoid the heavy touristy areas as we knew they’d very busy. Marco took us to off-the-beaten path places that were beautiful, as well as to Cavtat for a stroll along the promenade, Winery Botaro, Sokol Grad, and a delicious lunch along the River Lujta. He was so knowledgeable about the rich history of the country and region, which my history buff son absolutely LOVED!! Marco was very down to earth and engaging which made the entire trip that much better. Highly recommend the tour and especially Marco!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Customizable Tour of Croatia Via Minivan with a Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
