Ulana - Fabulous Old Nice Walking Tour
Our family had a spectacular time being guided by Ulana! Ulana's walking tour of Old Nice was fabulous. Ulana knows the city very well, easily manuevering through the streets of Old Nice pointing out points of interest such as churches, cafes and restaurants. Ulana led us up to the top of the castle in Old Nice, that included visiting a cool, refreshing waterfall several stories high. You can stand in front of it and the breeze would blow cool water onto you - unbelievably refreshing after being in the heat! We would not have known about the waterfall (I didn't see any signage) if not for Ulana. Ulana chatted as we along about the history of Nice influenced by Greece, Rome, Italy and France. I'm a history buff and learned several things. Ulana was happy to take photos of my family - she was just so accommodating, informative and kind throughout the tour. She knew when to take breaks for water and where to refill water bottles. Ulana provided several cafe/restaurant recommendations, two of which we've already tried and they were both fantastic (and reasonably priced, not crazy high tourist prices). Ulana's tour was just wonderful and wholeheartedly recoomend her!
