A great way to experience the area
Incredible trip! We covered a lot of ground and saw so much, yet none of it felt rushed. Our guide/driver was excellent, really knew their stuff, and was fun to spend the day with. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear Aram_A, Tour azur is delighted to read your review, and is very pleased you enjoyed the tour and the time spent with your driver guide so much. Thanks for recommending us! Sincerely, Tour Azur

Driver WAGNER ruined our trip !
This tour could ve been magnificent if it was with another tour guide/driver . Our driver was WAGNER , what a character . I ve never had this bad driver experience in my life . He was very obnoxious and stubborn. couldn’t have a decent conversation. He was very rude with his comments, argumentative the entire trip . At one point i couldn’t hold my self and said “ i m having very difficult time to have any type of conversation with you “ we got very frustrated. When we got to Castle at Eze , he suggested not to go top , told us stay in the middle section. Good thing we didn’t listen , top part us beautiful. There is a parfume factory which was part of the trip , tickets included to price . He said if we are not planning to buy parfume , not worth to visit . I asked if they show at the factory how parfume are made , he said no . I asked are you sure ? He snapped at me saying he has been doing this for so mAny years , of course he knows. So we left without seeing the parfume factory. Later when I checked their web site , i saw pics of the tour with some info of how to make parfume , told him based on the pictures on the factory s website , it shows there is , he got upset , he said that’s with appointment only . Then he made a sudden U turn with a huff , we thought he is taking us back , no apparently he thought of different drive route , thats why he made the turn . At Monaco he dropped us at a location, half an hour free time , pick up at 3:40 .. We were at the pick up spot at 3:40 , 37C temperatures and we started waiting.. there is a bad traffic so we thought he is little late .. it was 3:55 , called him to check where is he .. no answer.. texted him on WhatsApp, no answer .. at this point we thought he left us there .. at 4:05 we saw his car approaching.. asked him why he didn’t call us or answer our call to let us know he will be late , his reply was “ there was a police car in front of me , i cant answer the phone while i m driving or , i might get ticket.. “ I asked why he doesn’t have bluetooth ? He said “ he doesn’t like bluetooth “ While he is talking if you cut him off and ask a question, he snaps and increases his voice “ let me finish!!! “ while he was driving , he talks about the tour , facing the road ( obviously) but we couldn’t hear everything he says , especially when it combines with his heavy accent, it was not good. We asked him to repeat few times , told him why we can’t understand everything he said , his response was “ i have an accent but you have an accent too , i try to understand you as well “ So like i said , it was just impossible with him . I hated every second of this trip , paid to get scolded by this driver . So if u are booking with this company, make sure to ask your drivers name in advance, deny if its Wagner if u want to enjoy your beautiful French Riviera trip . I should get a partial refund bcs i had to deal with this type of a person on my vacation. Hope this review help you .

Amazing tour
We had an outstanding tour with Antoine! He showed us all of the sites that would normally be seen on the non-private group tour: Eze, Fragonard parfumerie, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes. This tour is a great value for large groups!
Response from the operator: The team and Antoine are delighted to read your review, and are very pleased you enjoyed your day with Tour Azur! Sincerely, Tour Azur

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan cost?
+
Prices start at $529 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Day Trip: The French Riviera by Minivan start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
