5 day Egypt Tour

United Tours organised such a seamless and wonderful tour of 5 days! We went through the wonders of the Giza pyramids, GEM, Fayoum Oasis, Alexandria, Saqqara and Dashur. Our guide Mohammed Amash was excellent! He was so passionate about his work, that even in the scorching heat, he got all of us so interested in learning and exploring the wonders of Egypt. His kindness, knowledge and his ability to adapt to any crowd really made him stand apart. The trip to Egypt would have not been so fun and meaningful if not for our wonderful guide Amash! Thank you for organising an incredible tour and giving us one of the best guides to have enjoyed this trip with! Yalla Habibi!

The Best Family Trip

UTS planned the 15 day private trip for us, and we had an amazing two weeks. From our private driver and wonderful personal guide, Tali, we had a seamless and stress free trip. I was worried how it would be traveling this time with our six-year old, but Egyptians love kids, and she did great. Highlights for her were all the kittens in the temples and riding a camel. The owner, Hamdan, of UTS I've known for more than 20 years, and my fourth time traveling to Egypt thanks to his company's help. Couldn't ask for a better person to plan just what you're wanting. Shukran to Hamdan, Tali, and Abdelrahman for making our trip so special.

Response from the operator: Dear Becky, Thank you so much for your kind words! This is really means a lot to me. It’s always a pleasure welcoming you back to Egypt, and I am so honored to have been part of your journey once again. I am especially happy that sweet Meret and Brett enjoyed their time here in Egypt. Big thanks from me, Tali, Abdelrahman and all UTS tours team. We hope to see you and your lovely family again soon. Warmest regards Hamad Fathy UTS Tours Manager & CEO

An amazing family experience with a awesome tour guide

Mr. Walid was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable. He was able to explain the history of all the temples, and the background of the kings and queens. He took us to really nice shops, based on what we were wanting to buy. We will definitely be using him as a tour guide in the future. (Also he knows all the secret photo spots) thanks Mr Walid!!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Mr. Ramzi, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your wonderful review of your trip to Egypt. We really appreciate your kind words and are happy to know that you had such an enjoyable experience. On behalf of our tour guide, Mr. Walid, and the entire Egypt UTS Tours team, please accept our sincere gratitude. Your feedback means a lot to us and motivates us to continue delivering exceptional service. We look forward to welcoming you again on your future travels to Egypt. Wishing you and your family all the very best. Warm regards, Egypt UTS Tours Team

Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide cost?

+

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide?

+

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Cairo and Pyramids Tour with an Egyptologist Guide start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
