What you get

    About this experience

Land’s End marks the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez in a landscape shaped by granite cliffs, wind, and ocean currents. As you paddle at water level, iconic landmarks such as Neptune’s Finger, Lovers Beach, and the Arch reveal themselves from a unique perspective only accessible from the sea. The granite formations surrounding Land’s End help create habitats for marine life, making areas like Pelican Rock one of Cabo’s most popular snorkeling locations. Rocky reefs and underwater formations provide shelter for colorful fish and other species commonly found in the Sea of Cortez. What makes this private experience special is the journey itself. Launching directly from the beach creates a quieter, more natural connection with the coastline, while the private format allows your guide to adjust the pace, snorkeling time, photo stops, and route according to your group and ocean conditions.

This historic shoreline sits near the old tuna cannery area and offers one of the closest ocean access points to Land’s End and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas.

      15 minutes here

    2. Neptune's Finger

Paddle along the granite coastline toward Neptune’s Finger, one of the distinctive rock formations shaped by wind, waves, and time. This scenic pass-by section offers changing water colors, cliff views, and a quiet introduction to the natural landscape of Land’s End from sea level.

      Pass by without stopping

    3. Arch of Cabo San Lucas

Continue paddling near the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, one of the most recognizable landmarks in Baja California Sur. Your guide will allow time for scenic views and photos when ocean and marine traffic conditions permit, always adjusting the route for safety and comfort.

      Pass by without stopping

    4. Playa de los Amantes

Pass near Lovers Beach, a narrow sandy area framed by dramatic granite formations. From the kayak, this section reveals the contrast between the protected Sea of Cortez side and the more exposed Pacific side of Land’s End.

    This tour was so much...

This tour was so much fun. As a solo mom with a 15 and 11yo it’s sometimes gets tricky figuring out which tour to pick. This hit everything, the arch, kayaking, snorkeling and sunshine. Thanks Emilio for taking great care of us!

Emilio will be so happy to hear your kind words. We love that you were able to experience so much of Cabo in one adventure—from kayaking to the iconic Arch to snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez, with plenty of sunshine along the way! Thank you for trusting Emilio and High Tide Los Cabos with your family. We’re so glad you felt well taken care of and hope these are memories the three of you will keep for a long time. Hugo and Emilio are amazing guides!!

Hugo and Emilio were our guid and both were fun, informative and we felt safe. The snorkeling at pelican rock was amazing on our trip. They were easy to communicate with what’s app because we were concerned we would be late from out tender. Highly recommend them.

Response from the operator: Hi there, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a great experience with Hugo Zambrano and Emilio on your private kayak and snorkel adventure. One of the biggest advantages of a private tour in Los Cabos is the flexibility and personal attention, so we're glad the communication through WhatsApp helped make everything smooth, especially with the uncertainty of cruise ship tender schedules. We always do our best to work with our guests and make the day as stress-free as possible. Hugo and Emilio will be very happy to hear your kind words. Their goal is always to create a fun, informative, and safe experience while sharing the incredible beauty of Cabo San Lucas and the Sea of Cortez. We’re especially happy you enjoyed snorkeling at Pelican Rock. With its abundant marine life and clear water, it’s one of our favorite spots and often a highlight of any Arch adventure. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing High Tide Los Cabos. We hope to welcome you back to Baja California Sur for another unforgettable adventure the next time your travels bring you to Cabo! High Tide Los Cabos 🐠🚣‍♂️☀️

Super Fun and Great Guide (Luis)!

So fun!! There didn’t end up being anyone else in our group, so it was just 4 of us friends in a private group. Our guide was Luis and he was awesome!! He brought a GoPro to take photos, waters and granola bars. We kayaked out to the arch and made a stop at Lovers and Divorce beach on the way back, then snorkeling at Pelican Rock. The water was a bit rough but he helped us when needed and we felt totally safe with him. We were very glad we’d switched from afternoon to morning, since the wind/waves pick up and more boats come in as the day goes on. I would definitely book this one again next time and would hope to get Luis again!

Response from the operator: Hi there, Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! We love hearing stories like this because they capture exactly what we hope guests experience during a day on the water in Los Cabos. We're especially glad you made the switch to the morning departure. As you discovered, mornings often bring calmer conditions, fewer boats around the Arch, and a more peaceful experience on the Sea of Cortez. It’s one of our favorite times to explore Cabo San Lucas by kayak. Luis will be thrilled to hear your kind words. He genuinely loves sharing this part of Baja California Sur with guests, whether that means helping navigate changing conditions, taking GoPro photos, sharing local knowledge, or simply making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe throughout the adventure. It sounds like you experienced the best of the area — kayaking to El Arco, visiting Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach, and snorkeling at Pelican Rock, one of the most vibrant snorkeling spots in Los Cabos. We're especially happy to hear that even with some waves, you always felt confident and well taken care of. Thank you again for choosing High Tide Los Cabos. We’d be honored to take you out again on your next visit, and Luis will definitely be smiling when he reads this review. High Tide Los Cabos

    Mono…the BEST guide!!

Mono is an excellent guide! He is fun, warm and welcoming; he is knowledgeable and loves what he does! His enthusiasm was so appreciated; we feel like we’ve met a friend!! Pamm

Response from the operator: Hi Pamm, Thank you so much for this beautiful review! Comments like yours truly mean the world to us. José Luis López, better known as "Monito," has a gift for turning a tour into something much more than just an activity. His love for Los Cabos, the Sea of Cortez, and sharing those experiences with guests is completely genuine, and we're so happy that came through during your private kayak and snorkel adventure to the Arch. One of the things we love most about small private tours is the opportunity to create real connections. Exploring El Arco, paddling along the coastline of Cabo San Lucas, discovering marine life, and sharing stories along the way often feels more like spending the day with a friend than joining a tour. We know Monito will be especially touched to hear that you felt exactly that. Thank you for trusting High Tide Los Cabos with part of your vacation and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope the memories, photos, and adventures from Baja California Sur stay with you for a long time, and we would love to welcome you back for another adventure whenever you're in Los Cabos again. Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch cost?

    +

Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Cabo Kayak & Snorkel Adventure to the Arch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
