Villa del Balbiano - Complesso Architettonico di Ossuccio (ante 1778)
Villa Balbiano, located on the western shore of Lake Como, in the municipality of Ossuccio, is an enchanting historic residence dating back to the 18th century. The villa stands on a promontory that juts out into the lake, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. History: The villa was built in 1787 on a pre-existing Franciscan monastery by Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini, who had also obtained the nearby Villa del Balbiano from the Giovio family. Cardinal Durini passionately dedicated himself to the expansion and embellishment of the villa, creating an Italian garden with statues, fountains and tree-lined avenues. Over the centuries, the villa has had numerous owners, including Count Guido Monzino, explorer and mountaineer, who enriched it with works of art and memorabilia from his expeditions. Architecture: The villa has a neoclassical façade with an ashlar portal and two bell towers, a remnant of the ancient church of the Franciscan monastery.

Wonderful tour of Lake Como - a must-do for any visitor!
We had the most wonderful time on Lake Como, thanks to Davide. The boat is beautiful, and spotlessly clean. Davide communicated with us really well immediately after booking and pick up was easy. The tour was fantastic - one hour was long enough to see the highlights of the lake, and Davide was very knowledgeable, telling us lots of stories about the local sights. It was really the highlight of our trip and well worth the money. Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing boat tour of thr lake from Bellagio
Our experience with Davide was perfect, from the minute we spoke to him on yje phone, response was super fast, friendly and efficient. Pick up was also perfectly (and earlier) than scheduled, The tour was super, Davide showed us the spots and villas on the lake, and eas so friendly and considerate for one if us who had some seasickness. Will definetely be back for a longer tour and recommend to anyone who is looking for a friendly, efficient and well priced tour of the lake!
