Private paddle board lessons!
Peg made this trip so fun.She knows the water and we felt safe.

Such a great experience from start to finish!
From start to finish, our excursion with Peg and Heidi was absolutely incredible. Peg called us the night before to confirm our reservation and walked us through every detail we needed to arrive on time and without any stress. When we showed up to the meeting point, she greeted us with the warmest smile and even gave us a quick paddleboarding lesson on dry land before we headed out. We’re a family of five with three young kids, and only a couple of us had ever tried paddleboarding. Peg and Heidi made us feel completely safe and confident from the moment we stepped into the water. Their patience, kindness, and friendly personalities made the whole experience even better. Once out on the ocean, they taught us so much—not just about paddleboarding, but also about Maui’s history, culture, and marine life. We even got to snorkel, saw several turtles, and were lucky enough to spot a seal! It was truly unforgettable. We would definitely do this excursion again, and we’ve already recommended Peg and Heidi to friends visiting the island at the same time. If you’re considering a paddleboarding adventure, look no further—these two are the best!

Wonderful Experience with Maddle On! Maui
This was such an incredible experience! It was my first time on a paddleboard, and I was honestly nervous even to try—but Peg was amazing. She coached me through every step and had me standing before I knew it! The setting was beautiful, and after paddle boarding we went snorkeling and saw so many fish—and even had a turtle swim right underneath us. To top it all off, Peg ended the tour with a surprise “Party on the Ocean,” which was absolutely delightful! An unforgettable morning on the water in Maui and a wonderful confidence boost for someone who’s usually a little scared of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Peg and Paddle On! Maui Were AMAZING!!!
From the moment we connected with Peg at Paddle On! Maui, we knew we were in for a treat - and she didn't disappoint! From the ease of registration, the information Peg provided ahead of our scheduled tour, to the awesome instruction, coaching, and guiding she did, we had an absolutely incredible time! During our paddleboarding and snorkeling experience, she kept us safe, informed, and entertained. As she learned more about our skill levels (or lack thereof :) ), she adjusted how she helped each of us in our small group of three get the most out of the experience. After we finished up, she then provided great recommendations on things to do in/around the area, providing a terrific list of restaurants and attractions for consideration. If you are looking for a professional, friendly, informative experience on Maui, rest assured that Peg and Paddle On! Maui will get it done! Thanks Peg, you rock!

Peg is the BEST!
I honestly cannot say enough about Paddle On! My bestie and I were celebrating our 50th birthdays with a girls' trip so wanted to try something new! Peg, the owner, was a stellar teacher for the two of us, who are, admittedly, not the most graceful and coordinated gals! She started with a lesson on the beach and then we paddled into the crystal clear Pacific. We both stood up on the first try with Peg's instruction, patience, and encouragement!!! It's harder than it looks, and we ended up in the water more than once but got back up every single time. It didn't matter that we fell off, the water was PERFECT! Midway through, we rafted up and Peg had the most lovely and thoughtful birthday toast on the water. After, we snorkeled for a bit. We saw countless fish, several turtles and even a ray!!! She took amazing pictures throughout which was incredible considering we were first-timers and a bit unsteady. After paddling back to the beach, Peg told us about the area. She sent us a carefully cultivated list of places to eat, drink, and celebrate. We took her advice and we were not disappointed. She knows her stuff!!!! I honestly feel like I've made a friend on Maui and I cannot wait to come back and Paddle On! with Peg again!

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.
How much does Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town cost?
+
Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.
Is Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 51 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Beginner Paddleboard Lesson with Snorkel in Turtle Town start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Maui?
+
Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Maui?
+
April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Maui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
