Black Hills Adventure Tours - South Dakota Monuments and the Badlands
Black Hills Adventure Tours is amazing! Be sure and get the correct name as several are similar. We booked two days of private tours for a last minute trip to South Dakota. Day one was the monument tours and day two we went to the Badlands. I am the person who always figures out the details rather than touring. Don't even try - South Dakota is stunning and we would have missed so much on our own (plus the speed limit is rather fast so having a driver was perfect). Aura was our guide for two full days and we felt like we made a life long friend. She is a local we learned not only the history but what it is like to live with the history. We left both days feeling the history and grateful for the hours we spent with Aura - she is a star! Totally worth the cost - Carrie at Black Hills Adventure Tours is the owner and Aura is the best guide!

Discovering the best of South Dakota with Aura
I can’t recommend Black Hills Adventure Tours and my private guide Aura highly enough! Aura went far beyond anything I expected and truly made my time in South Dakota unforgettable. From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and organized, while also being warm and friendly. You can tell she’s genuinely passionate about what she does! She never made me feel like just another tourist. Instead, she took the time to make sure I had the best possible experience, always going the extra mile with thoughtful suggestions, flexibility, and attention to every little detail. She even went out of her way to accommodate me by adding an extra stop during the trip—something that wasn’t part of the itinerary—simply because she knew it would make me happy. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to me and ended up being one of the highlights of my entire journey. Thanks to Aura, I discovered how beautiful and fascinating South Dakota is. She shared not only the famous sights, but also the stories, history, and hidden gems that made every day special. I spent three days with her, and every tour was really special. The first tour was a private tour to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park; the second tour was a private tour to Badlands national park; and, last but not least, we concluded these amazing three days with a private tour to the Northern Hills. So, if you’re looking for a guide no who truly cares about her guests and is dedicated to making your trip exceptional, look no further. Amazing
Mike was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable about all the sights. He let us take our time exploring and was willing to take all of our group photos. He even gave us recommendations on places to visit during the rest of our trip! I 100% would recommend to all my friends and family.

Highly recommend
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide named Mike. He knew everything there was to know about the area and the history. The lunch was so delicious! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour company and Mike the tour guide.
