Highly recommend for a fun group outing or special occasion!

We had an amazing time celebrating my husband’s birthday on this tour! The bus was comfortable, organized, and made the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. Our group of family and friends had such a fun day visiting the distilleries, enjoying the tours, and spending quality time together. Shane was friendly, professional, and kept the energy upbeat the whole time. Everything was well planned, and it made for such a memorable birthday celebration. We truly appreciated how easy and enjoyable the experience was for a larger group. Highly recommend for birthdays, special occasions, or just a fun day out with friends and family. We would absolutely book again!

Response from the operator: Joselyn, happy to help celebrate Ryan's big day and share some unique and relaxing experiences with his crew. They were a super fun group and we'd love to have you out again when you need a day to relax, laugh, and enjoy some great views (and a few fun cocktails and brews). Cheers

    Excellent

We had a blast! Shane's customer service is outstanding. There were baskets to store purchases and personal belongings under your seat. Beverage holders. Great music! The scenery was spectacular, especially since we had a beautiful day for our trip. Shane made the best picnic lunch too! Highly recommend this activity.

Response from the operator: Daedra, You were a spectacular group to have on board. Thank you for adding so many Good Vibes to the day and we are so glad you enjoyed lunch! Awesome review and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers

    Whiskey Tour

Shane is an excellent host and tour guide. The bus had plenty of space for all of us. He took us to a couple really unique and remote distilleries. Killdear, Ewing Young and Branchpoint. It was a wonderful day and not having to drive is always a major plus!

Response from the operator: Deb, So much fun and I love sharing those off-the-beaten path destinations. This distillery tour was a blast to put together and we love hearing that you enjoyed our newly upfitted mini-bus! Cheers

    Fun Day of Distillery Visits

Very fun tour of local distilleries organized by our local wine and whiskey bar, 503 Uncorked. Shane was an amazing tour host and we visited some great distilleries. I would highly recommend Good Vibes Tours for a fun day trip! We definitely plan on booking with them again!

Response from the operator: Lisa, thank you so much for the great review. Your crew was so much fun and we look forward to another adventure soon. PS. We can organize multi-day and overnight trips too ;-)

Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Portland.

How much does Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $290 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Portland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Portland is not rushed.

Is Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Portland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Portland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Portland and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Back-Country Distillery, Brewery, or Pub Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Portland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Portland?

    +

Portland's activity list is food cart and brewery crawls, Columbia River Gorge waterfall tours to Multnomah Falls, Mount Hood day trips and Willamette Valley pinot tastings. Gorge tours vary in how many falls they reach, so route detail is the deciding factor. On Outty we rank every Portland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour from Portland, Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge Half-Day Hiking Tour, Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood Tour - Full Day. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Portland?

    +

June to October for the Gorge, with waterfalls at their fullest in spring. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Portland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
