The best private tour we had!

Our trip was amazing. We were upgraded to a private tour and Sunleang took really good care of us. He explained everything, answered all our questions, and even stopped for us at a pharmacy. Water, fresh towels, and even mango was provided for us. He also knows the best picture spots and took many pictures for and of us. 100 percent recommended!

Response from the operator: Dear Lars, Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that you had an amazing time on your private Angkor Wat tour and that Sunleang took great care of you. Providing a memorable and comfortable experience for our guests is always our top priority, and we’re glad you enjoyed the little touches like fresh towels, water, and mango! Your recommendation means the world to us, and we truly appreciate your support. If you ever find yourself back in Cambodia, we’d love to welcome you again for another unforgettable adventure. Safe travels and thank you for choosing us! Best regards, John Travel to Inspire WhatsApp:+85592417796

Private tour with Sara Fantastic!

My tours were setup through my hotel with an awesome guide Sara. She took me out 3 separate days. We did Angor Wat and the nearby temples in the small loop tour; the second day was the Grand loop tour; and the last day she took me up to Kulen Mountain and the waterfalls. Many beautiful temples! I think we saw ALL of them :) Ms. Sara was absolutely fantastic! Her english was excellent and her knowledge of the history was also spectacular! She led me around the temples at a good pace, and did her best to avoid the crowds. It was a pleasure spending the days with her. Will definitely be back!

Response from the operator: Dear Craigh, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of your private tour with Sara. We are thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic time exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with her. Sara is indeed a wonderful guide with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for showing guests the beauty and history of the region. We are delighted that Sara's expertise, excellent English, and ability to navigate the temples at a comfortable pace made your experience memorable. It's great to know that you enjoyed the tour and that you felt you saw all the beautiful temples Angkor has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit. If there is anything else we can assist you with in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out. Warm regards, John

Angkor Wot, Tomb Raider and Monkeys.

Early morning sun rise tour with Mr Sun. Very well cared for at Angkor Wot and the Tomb Raider temple. Cold water and cold flannels each time we jumped back in the car. The level of knowledge was outstanding. If you really want to understand these temples then Mr Sun is your man. Be prepared for some steep steps! Recommend asking to see the monkey's!

Response from the operator: Dear Patricke, Thank you for your wonderful review of your private Angkor Wat tour! We're thrilled you enjoyed your experience with Mr. Sun and found his knowledge outstanding. We appreciate your kind words about the care and attention to detail provided throughout the tour. We strive to provide exceptional experiences, and your feedback confirms we're meeting that goal. We hope you'll join us again for another adventure in the future! Kind Regards, John

Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 77 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour?

+

Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Angkor Wat Temple Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
