    We will definitely return)

When we were looking online for a driver to explore Angkor, Heng caught our attention because we liked the way he wrote about himself at his site and how much he clearly loves his hometown. At first, we booked just one full day to visit the temples, but somehow that turned into three days with Heng and his car, including our transfer to the airport. We really enjoyed everything — how easy and relaxed the communication was, the stories about everyday life in Cambodia, the advice, and his calm and careful driving. By the end of the trip, we had even decided that we want to come back again, this time for a whole week, because three days is simply not enough to see everything around Siem Reap that Heng told us about :) The car was always clean, and there was more than enough drinking water for us. One day there was really heavy rain, and Heng actually found us near the temple and brought us an umbrella. He also came to our hotel 30–40 minutes before the agreed meeting time every day, just in case we wanted to start earlier. On the way to the airport, traffic was very difficult because of serious flooding on the roads. Heng kept looking for alternative routes and called people he knew several times to check what the situation was like ahead. And this was really the general feeling throughout all three days — everything was handled calmly, naturally and in a very human way, without making any fuss. We really appreciated that. We are very happy we chose Heng, and next time we come back, we will definitely be happy to travel with him again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We warmly welcome you to Siem Reap and are committed to providing you with the best possible service. We will take care of you just like family and hope to see you again next time.

Angkor private car tour for one

Amazing experience, supplied with water all the way. The driver made stops whenever I wanted to, took me wherever I wanted to go. He also did a great part of guiding me through the area and the sights. Pick up at the airport was very smooth, he was waiting for me in the arrival area with a sign so very easy to navigate. Recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you verymuch sir for review on my trip advisor.

Private Angkor Wat Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Private Angkor Wat Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Angkor Wat Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Private Angkor Wat Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Angkor Wat Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Angkor Wat Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Angkor Wat Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Angkor Wat Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

    +

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampong Phluk Floating Village Tour by Boat, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap, Angkor Wat Sunrise & 3 Main Temples – Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
