Wonderful trip in Nepal
I had a wonderful trip in Nepal. We were a group of 20 friends. Again, Emily our travel consultant, arranged another fantastic trip! We flew into Kathmandu and stayed at Hotel Manaslu. Beautiful hotel! I loved that we could walk to close by shops and restaurants. Our tour guide was wonderful, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Since it was festival time, he arranged to have his parents give us the Tika ceremony. The tour company made sure we had everything we needed and had a wonderful assistant with us while we trekked one day. Guide in front and assistant in back. I was a slow walker and especially enjoyed talking to the assistant. He knew so much and kept me safe on the trail. Thank you. I loved the temples, stupas, and the trek. I will definitely return to Nepal. The only negative to the trip was the Mountain Flight to see Mt Everest. We should have been given our money back. It was false advertisement. The planes windows were filthy. Some of our friends looked out over propellers. The ad shows the plane closer to the mountain. We saw just the top from far away. The left side of the plane saw Mt Everest. But, the pilot turned the plane around too soon and the right side front missed seeing it. Do not waste your money on the Mountain Flight.
Response from the operator: Dear CK, thank you so much for taking time to write the detailed post! It is very nice of you to share your wonderful tour with us. At the same time, we are so sorry for the disappointed flight experience at Mt. Everest. We take your advice seriously and we will discuss it with our local partners to improve our service quality. We will urge them to pay more attention to flight maintenance and pilot training. Thank you for your constant trust. We look forward to serving you again! Best regards.

Excellent trip, I would not mind coming back for the other hiking trails.
Nepal is a dream country on my bucket list to see. Emily Xin had planned another wonderful itinerary for my group of 20 members. The trip has all the elements of nature, hiking, Mt Everest sighting, culture, infrastructures dating centuries. Emily is an excellent planner. I highly recommend her expertise.
Response from the operator: Dear Rosario Marinas, we greatly appreciate you sharing your experience again with us! We are so glad to see you enjoy the activities of your Nepal tour. Your content of the wonderful trips is what we strive for. Thank you again for your trust. We are always here whenever you need help in travel. Best regards.

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara cost?
+
Prices start at $1709 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 7 Days Nepal Adventure with Kathmandu & Pokhara start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
