10/10 trip with a group of 6 friends
Did this trek over 9 days with 5 friends (4 males and 2 females). Hari was our guide, Babek was our assistant guide and we had 3 excellent porters Hari went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We adjusted the length of the tour a few times with no hassle, always had our food needs met and was highly informative whenever we had questions about Nepal. He was also super friendly and great company along the hike (as was Babek) - they were both excellent guides. The hike itself was wonderful. I’ve done EBC and probably preferred Manaslu due to starting at a lower altitude and working your way through more diverse climates. The final day over Larke pass was challenging but rewarding and the food was excellent throughout the trek. Great tea houses as well. Overall would highly recommend Hari and this tour - my friends all felt the same.

Hari and Bibek are the ultimate professionals
My group did the Manaslu circuit with Hari and Bibek who were both excellent, surpassing our expectations in every possible way. Our food, transport, accommodation, route planning and logistics were all taken care of which allowed us to all relax knowing everything was taken care of. Both Hari and Bibek were the ultimate professionals and we wouldn’t want to come back to Nepal without their guidance and friendship.

Manaslu circuit trek, 5/5 experience
We recently completed this hike with a group of 6 friends. We would highly recommend it, our guide Hari, and assistant guide Bibek made for a seamless adventure. They were professional and most of all fun and engaging. We had some tough times during the hike which is to be expected, and our guides were patient and knowledgeable. This would be a perfect trip for groups of friends looking for a challenge, adventure, good food, amazing people and stunning views. Thanks again Hari for going above and beyond to look after us.

Beautiful trek, perfect proffesionals, best guide Krishna
Namaste. I will give an honest review. First I will start with Mr. Upendra. He is a professional and acts straight. Everything that was agreed in advance was fulfilled. I come from Slovakia and here we are used to a different type of communication, more impersonal. You know, it works a little differently in Nepal, and if not in Nepal, at least in this company. I felt that everything was about us, not about the profit of the company. The itinerary was customizable and I never felt like anything was unclear. We also had one porter. It was Parbat. Parbat is an experienced porter and we always knew he was somewhere nearby and that our things were taken care of. I will now move on to our guide Krishna. Krishna is the Superman of the Himalayas, the Ironman of accommodations, the Captain of customer care. Now no joke: Krishna is not only a guide, he is a person who will introduce you to the local culture. Krishna always arranged the best accommodation so that we could feel comfortable even outside civilization. Krishna took care of us during the trek and also during rest. We got to know the Himalayas, we got to know Nepal, we got to know the local language, we got to know what it means to get an amazing friend - Krishna. I recommend Himalyan Leisure. If you want an experienced porter, ask Parbat. I have only known Krishna from the Guides, but I don't need to know anyone else. I would go with Krishna on any trek, to any base camp, and I would also go to the summit with him if its possible. Thank you Mr.Upendra, Thank you Parbat and most of all Thank you Krishna! We survived Nepal, we experienced Nepal, we lived in Nepal for a while...

Manaslu circuit trek with Kishna - a lifetime experience
I’ve just finished this amazing trek. We went with my fiancée on recommendation from our friends who did the trek with the exact same guide Krishna in the past, and it was the best we could do. The trip was well planned, very diverse and thoughtful. Krishna was the best guide we could ask for: skillful, caring and funny. He provided for our needs: not just getting us better rooms when it was possible, but also advice about how to best prepare for higher altitude, information about the country and the culture, and for instance also medicine for my nose stuffed from the cold and snickers when I needed it the most, and I could continue with another stuff. He taught us nepali card games and got a great sense of humour. We felt very safe around him, it was more like being on a trip with a friend. Also our porter Parbat was very skillful and communication with Mr Upendra from the company about the details of the trek was very clear, detailed and professional. Thank you for this once in a lifetime experience!

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek take?
+
Plan for about 384 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 384-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 384-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 16 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
